Call them. You’ll be on hold for a trillion hours, but they should accommodate. Why are you screwed on your flights? I know SW is different, but I just moved our dates to June and actually got a credit.
This is beyond an extenuating circumstance — get on that phone, babe. And ALWAYS use the nice approach, especially now. The lady on Southwest said people have been awful to her and everyone else working.
i feel like the administration has stock in disney world staying open because of pence so i think they hold out until they’re literally forced to close
and southwest you can cancel all the way up to 10 mins before your flight takes off and get your money back
What’s the longest WDW has ever been closed? A few days? Gotta think this will be at least a month right?
For guys that have already cancelled, what’s my procedure. Will I automatically get refunded. Probably be December before I can go now. Get on phone with airlines tomorrow and see if I can salvage that
We called airlines and after being on hold forever it was super easy. Gave us a full refund. we are just waiting on Disney email at this point to figure out how they handle cancellation.
I spoke to them before this closure and they gave me a credit for how much I had paid for tickets and I can use the credit at any time I’m interested now if I would get a refund
Based on what I’ve read, I’m pretty confident I’ll get a full refund from Disney. Will just have to see what airline does for me. I was flying out of Atlanta bc I waited too long to book and no directs out of Birmingham. If I’m delayed to December, I’ll prob fly from Birmingham, but with a different airline. Bet I only get credits for flight.
My trip is the first week of April which is a few days past the closing of Disney as of right now but it’s worth a shot

no not at all i’m not going to be mean or anything. i’m going to ask me for a full refund, and if they try to convince me to take a rain check i’ll try to get the most out of it
Frontier. Never flown them before but prices were so good I booked for this. Looks like I’ll get screwed. We don’t want to go in summer, so we’re thinking December with my wife being a teacher. Looks like they’re requiring you to use any voucher/credit by November.
Yeah, back to American for me. By the time I booked flights there weren’t any more direct flights to Orlando, and I didn’t want a layover with my youngest (had a miserable experience flying this summer). I’ll just bite the bullet next time.

Well, Frontier wasn't as bad as I expected. Got a credit, but it has to be used before November. We are rescheduling our trip for December.
yep. Got all of our flights and stuff canceled last night. telling kids was hard. My 7 year old asked if he could just go outside and shoot hoops. I said yes I will be right out. Had tears trickling down his face shooting hoops. Super sad. But feelings aside it’s the the best possible decision.
