It’s way too short. Really felt like the new version of Space Mountain to me. Guardians of the Galaxy is a way better ride.
My only guess is that they didn't really have the room to make it any longer. They really squeezed that ride in.
GotG is the best ride down there along with avatar. Expedition Everest was really cool too, had no expectations going in may be why it was so fun. I agree, Tron was fun but way too short, the hour wait even in the genie+ line fucking sucked.
I’m glad I listened to the thread and did bibbidi bobbidi boutique, it’ll be a memory for her the rest of her life. I was the only dad in there which was a little awkward but Annabelle loved all the attention she got because of it. 2 weeks since the trip and she’s still glowing about it. Spoiler
This is also a nice time to ask why police sent a cop army and helicopters after a trespasser (if that’s true). Like I don’t believe the conspiracy but if I did that might make me believe it even more!!
If you stay concierge level at boardwalk, the chef at flying fish cooks steak for everyone in the concierge club at 5:00 every day
Taking kid to galaxy’s edge tomorrow just me and him. What’s the play to try to see everything Star Wars there?
Rope drop rise of resistance. Ask to drive for smugglers run, if you want to drop the bag, sign up for lightsaber experience.
define "everything" there are only 2 rides and for that you just get in line or you can buy the individual lightning lane for rise the bar needs a reservation so you probably wont do that the restaurant is a counter/walk up as is blue/green milk droid & saber building you pay to do
I guess the 3 rides mainly. Sky tours, Rise, and smugglers run. I know the tour one is fairly short. Is Rise paid LL only?
Star Tours isn’t technically in Galaxy’s Edge but it’s right by there. I think Rise is the only LL, someone else correct me if I’m wrong but it’s a bit different every time you ride I think, so you could Rope Drop it and LL it. Go by the Droid Depot and LS Workshop in the morning to see if there were any reservation cancellations you can take. Galaxy’s Edge isn’t that big so I wouldn’t plan on spending all day just there.
all lightning lane is paid but one is genie+ and the other is individual lightning lane, Rise is individual lightning lange rise is the same thing every time except one car goes to the left and one car goes to the right
We wanted to get a lot in before 3pm (had to leave) so we did LL but standby today was 50-70 range. also maybe Best value for a toy at HS. In the store at the end of Star Tours there’sa lightweight version of building a lightsaber. It’s plastic but you chose 6 components including color. It lights up and makes noise. Only $29.99.
I remember a stormtrooper helmet somewhere that I expected to be like $100 was only 30 or 40. That surprised me.
Wife and daughter spent the last 2 days at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Wife promised her earlier in the summer that they'd go again before school started. Wife said it was brutal, hit 99 in the the park. Daughter said it wasn't bad lol.
Am currently watching Twisted Metal. I knew that I knew Quiet from something else, but couldn't put my finger on it.
I went to Sanaa the other day (the bread service lived up to the hype) and it was so cool watching this.
Reservations open up tomorrow morning for our trip in October. We are doing MK first day we are there, Monday. We have Halloween tickets for the next day so didn't do a park reservation for that day since we can get into MK at 4pm with the Halloween ticket. Was thinking some kind of character breakfast would be good for this morning and maybe the pool. Anything else I should put on the agenda since we have the day pretty open till the Halloween party?
then honestly, keep it all confined to that hotel. Do the character breakfast at Ohana or if you want a different hotel, Chef Mickey's at Contemporary for breakfast. Hit that amazing pool up, Ohana for dinner during the fireworks. You also can't beat watching the fireworks from the pool at polynesian
Anyone that has stayed at Animal Kingdom lodge, how was the bus service? Is there a longer wait for buses in the morning? And were the buses closer to the front at the parks? We are planning on going in February and are looking at either Animal Kingdom lodge or Caribbean beach. If it weren’t for the pool being closed at Caribbean then it would be our first choice.
I’ve stayed in Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge and there was no discernible difference in bus wait times.
Felt like the wait weren’t any different for me. The rides themselves are longer except to AK, of course, but not awful. Didn’t really notice where the stops at the park were. No matter where I stay my stop is always as far away as possible. We loved Animal Kingdom Lodge, though, and will probably be back there in the future.
AKL>>>>>>>> Carribean Beach. I'll be honest, Carribean Beach is a last resort option for me. It's just above the All Star resorts for me
Animal Kingdom Lodge is awesome. Great dining options. Savanna view is amazing to have your morning cup of coffee and watch the animals graze.
I don’t know for sure but the secondary pool may be better than the primary pool. Someone here can chime in. also it’s really cool seeing how they place food for example around the Savannah so that animals make their way around. my room was right by this fence and in the morning we noticed a bunch of animals would make their way over and watch the fence like it was a television. Sure enough they were all waiting for it to open and then they all took turns moving from one area to the next once it was open for them
