Have u paid for the tickets yet or are u doing a payment plan? As I learned this morning the tickets last forever if you don’t end up using them
It's a package using the Florida resident specials. We have five nights at Port Orleans and three days of parks but I'm having some serious second thoughts on going now.
We are going next week. We have no plans to cancel our trip. Hopefully we just have an emptier park than normal?
2 more deaths in FL from this corona virus it’s only a matter of time before there’s a Disney person infected sadly and ppl are going to lose it
The Florida Department of Health said the two people who died were in their 70s and had traveled overseas. The announcement raises the U.S. death toll from the novel coronavirus strain to 16, including 13 in the state of Washington and one in California. One of the Florida deaths was that of a man with underlying health issues in Santa Rosa County in Florida’s Panhandle, according to the statement. The health department added that the second death was that of an elderly person in Lee County, in the Fort Myers area
When I was there earlier this week they had done this. The scanners still worked and showed colors but all you had to do was scan your band and then the CM would shuttle you on through.
are you talking about rope drop? bc they will turn them off for rope drop to get everyone in but once that clears they go back to turning them back on on wednesday I had to use my fingerprint at 3pm
First trip in years coming up the 26th. Just bought tickets today. Doing Magic Kingdom with the 5yo. What do I need to do. I reserved fast passes too meet Ariel and Cinderella. Made a lunch res at crystal palace but I can change that. What am I missing? Also staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek the night before so we can get there at open.
Yeah. Bulk of our trip is on the coast. I thought about doing 2 days but I’m not sure she could manage. 1 is going to exhaust her.
did you get a mine train FP? you'll want that and then either a space mt or peter pan as those are the next 2 longest lines I dont have kids so idk how tall she would be at 5 years old or if she would like those rides, but it's good to have just in case so you're not waiting 90+mins if she decides she wants to do them
you won't need the FP for ariel, just do that later in the night close to park close assuming that's separate from the cinderella one
Make sure you get a stroller. Push her ass around all day. She'll last a lot longer that way. And you can load it up with water and snacks. Weebrew II turned 5 on our trip in December. For him the highlights were (i) Small World (by far) and (ii) Peter Pan. He also liked Pirates and meeting Stitch. Might be different for your little lady, but I'd say Small World is a good one to get to for sure.
No FP for the mine train damnit. I’ll cancel Ariel and grab SM. Stroller is a great idea. That’ll save both our lives.
If you are going during a weekend where you need a fast pass for Small World, there really is no saving the weekend, it's going to be a rough one.
NilesIrish , don’t miss Enchanted Tales with Belle. If any passes are still available for that, grab it. It’s usually a 30-45 minute wait, but she’ll love that shit.
NilesIrish Monster's Inc Laugh floor and PhilarMagic are good rest option shows. entertaining and 30ish minutes of AC. Can't beat that
PhilarMagic is probably my top ride at MK. I'm a big fan. And not even for napping purposes, I just enjoy it.
if there were enough rides without FP you could disneyland's fantasyland is like that and most (except pan) hit about 20mins on avg
Don't know anything about the traditional fantasyland dark ride so unable to compare. I've only been to Disney World and DisneySea (Tokyo). I read they are planning on updating it in the not-so-distant future. I am cautiously optimistic but in reality, I have no idea what to think/expect.
Oh no, that's much worse. I used fastpass 8 times my last day in Anaheim. And got many treasured pictures of my kids having their minds blown by Disney characters. I hope maxpass makes its way to Florida soon.
Works well enough for me and I don’t have to pay. I like it better than the pay to play system universal uses
My family gives me shit if I close my eyes for 5 minutes during Philharmagic. Glad to see I'm not the only one who occasionally catches a snooze.
fastpass especially sucks at hollywood studios it’s almost a deterrent for people to book a trip last minute which is really stupid on disney’s part imo
eh, I don't mind that people who have been planning their trip for 6+ months get a leg up on everyone else. I'd rather the family from Nebraska coming for the only time in the next 5 years get that Mine Train fast pass rather than me who booked the week of because I had some spare time and wanted to go for the 5th time this year.
Leaving Saturday. Hopefully shorter lines, but open, and no virus. Keep waiting to hear they’re shutting the parks down and crush my 5 year old.
now that i cant work, i may just stay at disney for a week or two as long as it’s open when i’m supposed to go at the end of march
Parks are such a revenue generator I’m hoping they won’t shutdown until it gets worse, hopefully not for a few weeks or so for my sake.
