2 episodes left in season 1 and this is great. Can’t believe I didn’t get in on this sooner
whole reason i have a cricket bat.
Next session is better imo
Yeah I’m really enjoying the backstory mixed in with the
shooting... holy shit
Donna in that red dress
And Bartlet giving C.J. crap about ND
5 episodes into season 3. I love this shit. Really want to read this thread but don’t want any spoilers
I've been careful not to post any, but I'm sure it's filled with them.
Not willing to risk it at this point because the show is old and the posts are not in chronological order
finish watching then join us imo
I had some stuff spoiled due to Wikipedia but I don’t envision it curbing my enjoyment.
Yeah, but I've been down here before, you see, and I know the way out.
As long as I got a job, you got a job, you understand?
The relationship between josh and leo is one of my favorite things about the West Wing.
Josh and Sam starting a fire
Lol you're just a few episodes behind me. Is this your first time watching too?
Holy shit, it's Ian McShane. Recently, I've seen Al Swearengen in Game of Thrones and West Wing. Dude really gets around
Lord John Marbury is the Brit ambassador we need but most definitely not the one we deserve
Cartographers for Social Equality
Seems like it’s about time for anothe rewatch.
Block of cheese day is the GOAT
Just finished season 4 and FUUUUUUUU
I'm also watching this for the first time. Really enjoying it so far.
"Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of the White House, had a two-ton block of cheese."
"And a wheat thin the size of Lake Tahoe."
I could hear Leo say “two ton block of cheese” all day
Ainsley and Sam are too cute together
Finished last night. Legitimately sad that it’s over. Just a fantastic show
Watched the episode last night where CJ laughs in the face of that DAR woman. So funny.
I was watching this a few years ago but stopped for some reason. Think halfway through season 5. Going to finish it up.
I love Amy during this whole part. She's like am I being hazed?
CJ's laugh in that scene is so great.
The Francis Scott Key key. That's a different fox-hunt altogether.
When the camera cuts back to CJ and she's losing it but not making any noise...
You mean Ethel Beavers from Parks and Rec??
No clue. Never watched that show.
Seavie, pls. Parks and Rec oozes West Wing
There’s an episode where Josh guest stars as a city councilman named Pillner. He has “Pillner for Pawnee” written on a napkin and framed on his desk
That episode where Bartlett gives Leo the napkin as a gift, and Leo breaks down... moving stuff.
Indeed. Here’s a link explaining all the similarities if you care to listen. The actor that plays Will Bailey is one of the hosts of the podcast and this one features Rob Lowe(who was on both shows) and Adam Scott who is a big WW fan
One of my favorite shows ever. I've probably done 4-5 full watch-throughs.
I need to continue watching. Finding out another season of Expanse is on Prime Video caused me to recalibrate
Gotta finish. We were neck and neck there for a minute
Donna falling for the space object fax
Oh my fucking god Mrs. Landingham
Fantastic last two eps of the season and hell of a cliffhanger
Season 3 episode 1 is going to throw you off.
Just imagine it as not being a part of the series chronologically.
It was the episode that aired after 9-11, and although it takes place during the Bartlet presidency, it's not in line chronologically.
Episode 2 will pick up where the cliffhanger left off.
One of, if not top 2, my favorite series of all time. My only complaint is what they did with Toby's character at the end. I believe I've read Richard Schiff didn't like it either. Just didn't fit with the character. He should have been with Josh on the campaign trail
Episode 1 was good and honestly could’ve slotted in just about anywhere on the show
Hey kid, way to be back at your desk.
End of season 3, Martin Sheen throwing shade at God in Latin was glorious
Two cathedrals is a top 10 episode in pretty much all of TV
Stockard Channing is one of the unsung heroes of this show.
