Did some light reading on the cba negotiations earlier. Does seem to be a conflict of interest to have players who have a stake in another league to lead the negotiations. I imagine a sticking point for higher salaries would be not playing in other leagues and risking injury. no?

Correct It may not be a direct competitor but it’s a league using the same labor. there comes a point where the labor needs to be protected by the league
