Didn’t see that we have a wnba thread. Might as well get one started. draft day trade. #Iowa Hawkeyes #South Carolina Gamecocks #LSU Tigers #Southern California Trojans #Tennessee Volunteers #Connecticut Huskies dump
I’m hoping the Wings get Sheldon at 5 instead of picking Edwards since we already have 4 bigs on the roster
If it keeps growing, probably. I read an article last year where profits doubled from 2019-2023. But their CBA is fucked and players only receive about 10% of revenue, meanwhile the NBA players get 51% of revenue. The max salary in the WNBA is $250k. There's a clause where it'll kick to 15% based on growth but that's still dumb low. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a holdout in the next year or two if it keeps growing.
I don't think that many people (especially those who follow it) expect this. At least not right away.
Somewhat agree but I’d rather them go in bigger markets where theres no NBA presence yet like they did with Vegas
I’m talking myself into Angel at #5 tbh also I know its a bit high but if we get Muhl at 9 I would be thrilled
as a fan of a team with 6’7” twin towers, you can never underestimate height and size in this league so I see why Chicago chose Cardoso over her
