Turbo is a savage. “I pray to God to give me a chance to put these two into elimination”.
I love it.
Betting odds....turbo has to be the favorite to win this final if you look at who is left correct?
The way he crushed that puzzle last night was impressive
Theo doesn’t appear to be very smart from a strategic perspective. Hunter will 100% miserably fail at something within the final. Scheming won’t matter much for the final, so Wes drops a few notches.
Paulie his only real competition, and I think Paulie is more likely to get hot-headed and make a bad decision, plus turbo probably beats Paulie heads up in most things.
Paulie is such a classic short man syndrome. The guy is maaaaaybe 5’7 and thinks he is all big and bad and wants to “get his hands on” Kyle, who outweighs him by what, 50ish lbs and 4-5 inches? Such a douche.
I'm convinced Turbo is the Turkish Jason Bourne
There was a point in the Tribunal last night where Cara looks up at Turbo and said something like, "You're like a henchman" and he responded..."Yes, I am".
Dee deserves every bit of it. She jumped into an argument that had nothing to do with her twice. That’s much worse than Natalie having a misguided tantrum in the heat of the moment.
Theo exclaims “I was a chess champion when I was younger” and then cant complete a 9 tile slide puzzle. Ok, bud.
Turbo would suck playing against. Would you risk getting everyone together to go after him or do you ally with him knowing you'll get 2nd place in the final. No one wants to get on Shitty AMC Show floor with him. And Paulie has been a terrible player strategically. Wasted 80% of the season going after Kyle.
Turbo is very impressive. He is obviously a monster and has been real good at every puzzle. I also think he has played the mindgame/alliance part extremely well. Everyone either loves him or is terrified of voting for him.
He’s already in the final...
Kinda like Landon back in the day, the lone wolf
Minus that convo with paulie
Finally, Paulie goes home. I was kind of indifferent on him originally but him and Cara are so annoying. He lost to Hunter in an endurance/coordination/strength challenge. He gets no benefit of the doubt from me anymore as a competitor. Him sobbing at the end...embarrassing. You can talk about taking guys out, being the alpha, etc and but don’t turtle when it’s showtime. Really liked the challenge too. Difficult, but not impossible.
Actually like most everyone left. And happy to see the final is gong to be some long, grueling event. As it should be.
The seal popping up in the water was great.
I was gonna come in here and say I am far from Paulie's biggest fan but I did feel sorry for him coming this far and failing in such an excruciating fashion. But you know what you right, screw him. He played well but ultimately he choked when it mattered most and that's it. I was done with him after talking all that crap about eliminating kyle in a headbanger and folding when it was time. I ain't got no respect him so why should I have sympathy for him either. Buh bye Paulie see ya next season. You also right that crying was disgraceful too.
Got my money on Turbo and Georgia to win this thing. Nice to see a return to a challenging final after that cakewalk last season.
Yeah I mean they all try hard, they all
want the money for their families, or whatever the reason. I just grew tired of him and Cara thinking their reasons for “doing this together” was more important than anyone else’s reasons. And they threw themselves in everyone’s faces all the time.
And he sucked on a challenge that every guy finished and all but 2 girls did. Georgia finished it. Can’t walk around thinking you have a ten foot weener and let a 130 lb girl work you.
any chance for Wes?
Him and Cara were annoying as shit and he really takes the douche level high. But you gotta give the guy credit for not quitting. Have seen a lot of guys quit on easier shit
Wife fast forwarded through the beginning where TJ was explaining the dee/davonne elimination, so it had nothing to do with who pulled the ropes fastest and it was just them playing tug of war at the end? So why wouldn’t you just wait your opponent out and let them get exhausted and then pull them off their stump?
There were two sets of ropes, so unless you were allowed to pull on the one connected to your waist it was all about getting through the slack.
Also, "Ninja" has become an annoying character. Not nearly as bad as what Cara has become but she now bothers me.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuck paulie..glad hes gone..
Im pulling for wes and hunter.. dont like turbo or that other guy... for the girls maddie seems cool..
50 mile final..? Woof fuck that..
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?! YOU CHICKEN
SHUT YOUR CHICKEN MOUTH
IM RIGHT HERE BRO
Yea that challenge made him look like a bitch for sure.
Side note, if you’ve ever even touched a rope swing, rule 1 is no slack in the rope. That dumbass jumped twice with a ton of slack. He deserved that loss
Happy Turbo Night to all. How many episodes are they going to stretch a 50 mile finale over? 3?
Yeah at least two. Curious to see how much of it they get to bike. I would be all for making them walk it/run it with a bunch of challenges along the way. Make them stay up all night. Something that makes 750k a prize worth it. Get a few people to quit.
What if they make them do something wild like walk across 10 ft of hot coals?
I heard this year they have to walk a 15 ft long 1 foot wide balance beam over a pool filled with trout.
NOW YOU’VE DONE IT! Haha, that was stupid funny at the time. Like, what the hell is this?
Didn't think they'd go into the finals with 8 competitors but all six of my predictions made it. Only thing I'd change now is that Theo or Turbo is winning it. Was wrong about Paulie losing in a physical challenge, his stupidity is overlooked because of all the bravado, how does someone take multiple attempts on the rope swing and never realize you have to grab higher on the rope.
Georgia is probably the biggest surprise to me, I never expected her get this far and have as good a shot as any of the females. Don't think Hunter or Mattie have a chance given the endurance the final appears to need.
Hunter claiming he was the defending champ going into it, made me chuckle.
They have a tribunal during the final so im wondering if theres a vote to eliminate someone before finishing?
Id consider him the champ, just didn't get the money bc somehow eating all that shit didnt matter.
webbi ....are you Hunter?
Lmao no.. i dont mind him though
I like hunter. He can be over the top some but overall he’s okay.
I’m pulling for Wes and him in the final. Girl wise it’d have to be Mattie.
I don't think Mattie has much of a shot with it being such a long final.
Feels like this is Wes’ Roger Federer moment at the Australian Open in 2018...took a little luck to make to the finals and you know there isn’t going to be that many more chances.
And that concludes your challenge/tennis references.
Cara has fairly quickly turned into one of my least liked people on the show. She’s just terrible.
Listening to the challenge mania pods and I have to agree with bananas that she is dumber than bricks. May be the dumbest person to ever win on this show, no hyperbole.
Well that was fun. Total carnage. And LOL at the freak out by Cara about the IV. I hope she crashes and burns because of her 2nd grader freak out about a needle giving her desperately needed hydration.
With Hunter, Ninja, and Cara, if it’s going to be an elimination it can’t be anything physical because of the potential Hunter going against a girl, which means if Hunter goes in at all, he’s losing.
*How does Cara have piercings and tats, but freaked by IV needles?
*T.J. telling Mattie, "Hey...you're a great competitor, but you need to stop smoking cigarettes. Don't be a fucking idiot" while she gets carted out was an all-timer.
*Not gonna lie...got a little worried about Turbo. His video where he ate a pile of food, drank beer and then got on the treadmill was awesome.
Theo looks pretty damned strong, but he should look that way. Wes only being 10 mins behind him was pretty mind-blowing to me. Cara fucked herself with the IV thing. That's gotta bite back hard. Everyone else was still wobbly when they came out of that truck after IVs. She's going to seize up on the next part of the final and it will be glorious to watch.
I don't hate Hunter, but if he makes it past this next tribunal, I still don't see him cracking the Top 3.
So they ran 12 and biked 12?
Yeah, each loop was 6 total miles, running 3 and biking 3 as I understood it.
I keep having to remind myself that Theo should dominate; guy was an Olympian!
in what event?
4 x 400 relay team for Great Britain. He participated in the 2016 games and is training to go to Tokyo in 2020 per google.
