Miami -4 over/under 50.5 Thoughts? Barring an unexpected change in the line it looks like I'll be going against the board consensus and betting Pittsburgh +4.
If Shannon loses to Wannstache he should be fired on the spot. Miami should win this game by at least two touchdowns but with Shannon as coach they could lose.
One of the cappers I follow who is probably the best I've ever seen liked Pitt at +3 FWIW. I'd just be very careful for those of you who LOVE Miami. I'll probably only be putting 1 unit on Pitt so it's not like I'm making it a major play but I think the Miami backers are falling into a trap imv.
I'm about half ML half spread. I'll be shocked if Miami doesn't win. They'll have 12 days from Ohio State to Pitt. Pitt's defense is not in the same galaxy as OSU. I think Harris picks them apart. Pitt with a new qb who is not that good and Miami with a great DL. I think it gets ugly real quick. Miami cruise. I still have Miami winning the ACC.
Their fanbase is hilarious. 75% is Miami is gonna roll into Columbus and steamroll us and the other 25% think they suck.
I surely didnt think we would beat you when we have the worst coach in college football and you have one of the best.
Ok but I still think you guys have the best team. Many Miami fans were like WERE GOING TO GO UNDEFEATED AND WIN IT ALL then after the OSU loss their like we suck we won't anything
Im about the most realistic fan you will find. I am not some huge homer that says my team is the best when they are not. Miami has plenty of talent for sure but they are so poorly coached that they will never win even a conference as bad as the ACC. As for this game I think we overwhelm Pitt in terms of talent and Wannstadt is about as bad as Shannon. Miami also tends to play decently in the beginning of the season before they fade down the stretch under Shannon. I am taking the Canes in this one but Im betting it small since you just never know what you will get from this team.
We also have better players but that's beside the point. I'll take the home dog on a Thursday night. +3.5
I think Pitt is just too outmanned. I got Miami at -3.5. with all those defenders out Miami should really open up the game in the 2nd half. I think Pitt's QB will play well enough, but Pitt will have trouble running the ball, and will have trouble stopping Miami. I believe Miami has won 13 out of the last 14 vs Pitt.
this game smells like a trap. Everyone on the message boards are talking about how Miami is going to kill Pitt. The line is fairly steady, yet most of the action is on Pitt. Not saying Miami doesn't run away with it, but it reeks of a trap
Pitts defense is garbage. We all saw them play at utah who to me isn't as good as they are ranked. I say miami beats them but not with the spread i think with money line.
Romeus out will REALLY hurt Pitts pass defense against Harris and co. I dont think the Miami D is anything great, but they should be able to slow down Pitt enough and I like Miami offense to capitalize on Romeus being out in both the run and pass game. 31-20 Miami
