not to mention this is a missing person case not a homicide case You come to the property looking for clues on a missing person and see blood all over a tiger cage, common sense would leave you to believe it’s from a dead cow and not her dead husband and you keep moving
Do you think that she ground up his bones? Or that the tigers ate them whole? If she just buried them, they'd still be there.
No body or murder weapon also netflix is not a reliable narrator at all, it’s a dramatization I’m with wes
I’m not going to provide them any information they don’t already know, and they obviously don’t have enough evidence to get a search warrant for her property
A million things she could have used that wouldn't have left any evidence? Who helped her? She obviously couldn't have driven his van to the airport 40 miles away and left it herself. Or, did she ride her bike or walk home without anyone seeing her?
Carole stood to gain the most with his “disappearance” the business and the direction she wanted it to go with no more breeding etc Millions of dollars Rid herself of her cheating sex addict husband She stood to lose it all if he stayed and went ahead with his plans to divorce her if you choose to believe that was his plan
think it’s obvious if she would have done this her father would have helped her just like he helped her break into that trailer that had the wills
Could she have killed him? Absolutely possible. The whole "ground him up and/or fed him to the tigers" angle is preposterous. Tigers wouldn't eat the bones in their entirety and a meat grinder isn't working on human bones. Even the biggest industrial-sized meat grinders don't work on hard bone. If she did it, I could see it going down something like the bizarre ketamine "tip" she talked about.
And, FWIW, the motive isn't ironclad as just avoiding getting cut out of the money. They were married for 16 years. I'm sure a lot of his money came after they were together, and at least some of it was involved in the sanctuary that she ran. He was not going to get out of a divorce without paying her a shit ton of money.
Guys, there’s no real proof that Boob Job Barb had sex with Doc Antle. She only thought about it. -wes tegg
but she could have been cut out of the business that was her entire life since he wanted to move it to Costa Rica which she was against
The world’s leading Panthera Tigrisologist, Joseph Allen Schreibvogel-Maldonado-Passage-Exotic, informed us that the tiger stomach can digest human bones. Therefore I have concluded that there would be no physical evidence of this murder.
Unlikely. Divorce courts strongly disfavor business interruption as a consequence. If they had allowed it, he would have had to pay her a substantial sum for the existing company.
Not answering your question but he originally said, I believe on a few occasions, that he never drove to Florida. He took the money and bailed to strip clubs in SC.
The doc should have a better job highlighting this, which shows what their motives are Carole is leaving a ton of $ on the table by not doing these things
I realize the Doc made it seem like HCSO didn't investigate her, but from everything I've read/heard they solely focused on her but couldn't catch a break. You have a rich old guy that is sort of redneck, loose cannon. His van is left at the airport. He has land in Costa. The police weren't treating this as a murder on day one. No one with any common sense thought he was hiding, just merely that he was selfishly doing what he wants and would call soon. She now has days alone with the crime scene. Then as time goes by, the investigation switches hats. His daughter Linda says that Don never went more than 24 hours without calling her even on business trips. The violence injunction surfaces. His briefcase is found in the van. Carole's family immediately moves onto the land and they get started on cleaning up and new business ideas, etc. The assistant gives the "envelope" to the police in case he goes missing (envelope has injunction). All of the witnesses surface. Carole filed the power of attorney 11 days after the disappearance, so 11 days later she is legally running the show despite the families efforts. Now the police have a bunch of hearsay and really no solid direct/circumstantial evidence at all. They can't detain her. They aren't ripping open cages or dirt. All of the family agree to do a polygraph, except Carole. There is plenty of evidence that he did leave a bunch of money behind and no evidence that he had hidden cash in Costa. I agree that it is a safe assumption that he had a bunch of cash in Tampa, but the next safe assumption is that Carole immediately took it. Even if you set aside the fact that she held a gun on him the very first second they met, everyone close to the situation thinks she did it, and she has a history of having violence injunctions filed against her, you still can't ignore her motive. Hearsay/speculative arguments aside, her life has been set since he was killed. We have the hindsight of watching the motive/gain come to fruition. Obviously Don would be the best person to talk to, but remember..... "a dead body can't talk"
All this arguing is pointless. We got another month being locked inside...Reddit will have this shit solved in 2 weeks.
Could Tiger King have come out at a more perfect time than a Nationwide quarantine? It's really keeping everyone connected right now. Imagine if we all didnt have this to talk about.
The interview with Erik Cowie when he's discussing testifying while sitting on a motel bed...he definitely shot up right before they turned on the cameras, right?
And I think it's shown right before the hitman-in-a-tub interview. Strange series of interview sections.
Laughed at the footage of Joe recording his attorney telling him, without telling him, to burn down the building with all the incriminating footage
