They’re going to go months 0 income from visitors. Millions of Americans are without jobs now but I guess that doesn’t include big cat rescue donators
I think she will make less money and maybe get less volunteers but cat weirdo’s will still want to volunteer and people will still want to stop by. Shit, some people will go just because of the Doc. It won’t cause her to shut down assuming she still has a bank roll.
She is completely shut down right now. Obviously she isn’t making money and won’t in the foreseeable future. That goes without saying. Edit: thought you guys were just discussing the Netflix impact, not COVID-19 as well. yes, she will be hurting. But if she does get back on her feet I think you will be surprised how many will still be willing to go there.
He made the point of what she’d be willing to do if cash flow were to ever stop coming in. I said we are there now..mostly due to coronavirus but I guarantee she has lost supporters because of this documentary
Yes, it will take some time for her attendance to return to normal, obviously. But that’s the exact kind of place people will be rushing back to when they reopen. Also, she’s a fucking multi-millionaire - and that doesn’t even cover the money she’s made over the years of not paying employees at the rescue. Or the fact that people are 100% still donating(and volunteering, because the animals still have to be cared for) while they’re closed to visitors.
I meant in the very specific case where legislation passed and she didn’t have cats to “rescue” any longer because all of these personal zoos and ownership didn’t exist anymore...and then you went off on this tangent about the virus.
well, whatever, my point is that people suck and I bet they will still go and help her out etc. also /Florida.
To be fair, Joe said a lot of things, like, “I’m running for governor,” “sounds like you’re not as straight as you thought,” and “they were like his golden nuggets.”
them having to put this video out tells me they are seeing blowback financially or are expecting to in the near future If things were status quo I’m sure they wouldn’t have even bothered responding
Having said that I’m sure the positive that came out of this is that big cat rescue is now a name everybody recognizes before this doc i had no idea they even existed and I’m sure I’m one of millions of people who now know about their rescue which will lead to more social media followers and more visitors to the BCR etc etc
Doc is 100% R Kellying all those girls at his place. I saw that they for raided in Dec, anything come from that?
Just so you know, that is 100% not how this works. Not responding to a fabrication in the National Enquirer? Sure. Putting your head in the sand after the most watched documentary in the country (at a time when literally no one has anything to do but talk about it) posits that your founder killed her husband and fed him to her tigers? Lol no.
Not necessarily. My point was that the video isn’t an indication that they aren’t getting donations. It’s to avoid any disruption in those donations coming in.
I bet she's making even more advertising money now with subscriptions to her YouTube and Facebook and everyone being home from work and all that
If after the show aired donations are still coming in exactly how they were before the show then I don’t think they even touch the subject and let it die now if they’ve seen donations start to decrease or are expecting them to they release the video which was what I said in my first post
Or maybe she's not actually a murderer and is sad that millions of people on like every platform are talking about how she definitely killed her husband lol
This case has all the ingredients for your textbook domestic related homicide marriage trouble Power struggle over the business Millions of dollars she stood to inherit Infidelity but like the daybell/Vallow case all over the news in Idaho, its not what you know it’s what you can prove
