Guess I should start one of these. $550 ( ) to win $500: Duke team total UNDER 80. Clemson hasn't allowed an opponent over 80 this year, and 12 of 14 opponents have been held under 70. Against its top-50 opponents (from KenPom), Duke's scored 76, 69, 68 and 64. At 15th in defensive efficiency, Clemson is easily the best defensive team Duke has played. 2nd is Wisconsin, who beat Duke and held them to 69. KenPom predicts a pace of 72 possessions in this game. That should provide a slow enough pace to make this a really nice play. Last year, only 3 conference opponents got over 80 on Clemson in regulation. One was @UNC, another @Wake. Duke only got over 80 in 4 of its 19 conference games a year ago. Also liking: Georgetown -550, $550 to win $100 Miami -1100, $1100 to win $100 Iowa State -6.5 (-105), $200 to win $190 GL!

Hanging tough on the road at Richmond and losing by 2 is impressive. Of W&M's wins, we have margins of 1, 6, 2, 1, 19, 10, 1, 5, 7. This is also their third game in 6 days, so tired legs might be an issue. Good chance UNCW keeps it within the number, IMO.

All lines equal, I use 5Dimes because I have most of my money there. It's now apparent that UNC is going to make me sweat this one out.

Sucks about UNC, but you have to feel great about nailing the sides again. The wrong team was favored in the Pitt game.
Agreed. I wrote that Pitt was the better team and I think that played out. Plus 4.5 points in the BE is like 8 in most conferences.

Minnesota +8.5 $200 to win $190 Gophers are underrated and they haven't lost a game by more than 5 all year. Playing good ball and in the B10 (like the BE), 8.5 is like 10 or 11. Slow pace of play makes 4 possessions an awful lot of chalk. Wouldn't be shocked to see Minnesota win this game.
Any thoughts on Notre Dame/South Florida Tiger? The guy we've all been following in the Service Plays thread has South Florida as one of his picks but Nick Parsons has Notre Dame as his pick of the day. I'll probably just not play but curious if you had any thoughts on it.
Adding South Florida +1 $200 to win $190 Long road trip for ND, South Florida has been a death trap for Big East teams for a number of reasons. Wild atmosphere there, tough gym, and it's a long ass flight. SF has hung with and beaten teams they have no business beating in that building. USF with more rest and ND with two straight road games and three games pretty close together. I like the USF defense, currently rated 39th by KenPom. ND doesn't defend well at all, so I'll take the good D, the home court, and the better team at home. KenPom has this as a 5-point win for USF, so I see good value.
Glad ND could get the win without costing you money. I agreed with most of what you said except the idea the USF is the better team. ND is inconsistent and not a great road team but we're absolutely better than USF by a large margin.
Yeah, by better team at home, I meant that I thought USF was a better team at home than ND is on the road. On a neutral floor, I like ND better as well. Proved tonight they're probably a bit better all around.
