Unless you look at it as Kirk is a huge racist(he is) and therefore Gruden “speaking out” is him saying things Kirk fully agrees with but won’t say himself
Bomani always has good takes it’s honestly impressive how high his batting average is. The man doesn’t miss
This has been a fairly tough story to follow as every network (in my limited straw sample) seeming doesn't quote what was actually said. I've watched an unacceptable amount of ESPN this weekend and aside from the tire/lip comment I know nothing. I'm fully aware he said a lot of other racist things - the coverage has just been odd.
Bruce Buccaneer is crying. So sad. The prestigious Buc ring of honor. I mean they just don’t hand that out.
I know times are different post #MeToo but I cannot imagine the scene where they are forcing a topless photo shoot
It's hilarious reading Twitter comments from people who very obviously say similar shit and genuinely can't fathom that other people don't, so they project it on to everyone. "You could do the same thing to 90% of people and they'd have this kind of stuff and get fired" Uhhh, no? Speak for yourself
Bomani did? When does that start? Edit nm found this. Definitely a watch for me. https://theathletic.com/news/espns-...-night-show-on-hbo-in-2022/iPWH2Xv5Cz9Y?amp=1
I think bc he’s now got the hbo show he’s not exclusive? I honestly have no idea but it was great hearing him today
Well, I’d like to see the NFL wriggle its way out of THIS jam! *NFL wriggles its way out of the jam easily* Ah! Well. Nevertheless,
Can’t let the masses know Gruden worked for them at the time, and likely sent said emails from his ESPN email address. Also - and the bigger cause here - can’t get people too riled up about all of this and turn them off of the NFL to the point they stop consuming highly lucrative NFL media.
Oh that's just how he keeps getting the scoop on stuff, asking the source and letting them control the story. Please let Darren Rovell have something terrible come out of this.
They absolutely do, but I don’t think Woj ever wades into non transactional stories all that often. Maybe occasionally, but it’s one thing to be the guy that blows up the NBA draft. It’s a whole different ball game to reach out to a guy who is part of an investigation into a toxic work environment, asking him to proof read your story.
Also, Schefter is co-investing in a gambling app with Robert Kraft. He isn’t exactly setting a high bar for ethics these days. He’s basically Trent Crimm.
Seems like a good time to bring up the fact that shefty wrote about about his wife's husband who died on 9/11 Not creepy at all
