and also why do nfl teams take into account how players performed and acted in college since they weren’t employed by the nfl at the time
I don't consider that the same thing. Their background checks are part of the interview process. Gruden cleared at the time and was hired by a team. How is the NFL going to be able to do anything about this?
Racist, homophobe, friend of the guy that runs the Outback bowl? Never has there been a more perfect person to lead the Vols.
Actually was referring to a cigarette. His best friend is British and he was referring to players who burnout quickly.
That same year, Gruden was sent a link to an article about N.F.L. players calling on Goodell to support their efforts promoting racial equality and criminal justice reform. Gruden had advice for Goodell: “He needs to hide in his concussion protocol tent,” he wrote.
At this point the only question is whether Vegas can fire him with cause. I assume not, since he wasn’t employed with the team at the time, but I am sure they will try.
how many ounces of homophobia-in-the-body does that equate to? has he sweated it all put since the emails? I’d say no less than 8 ounces.
Can you imagine the type of mailing lists he’s subscribed to? I bet he still gets some Maxim Magazine subscription renewals
"His racism, bigotry, and misogynistic views can't be held against him when he expressed them before his current employment"
I'd sure hope the Raiders' legal team is good enough to have this covered this in a moral or conduct detrimental clause to get out of the buyout
i am serious. i dont think the nfl can get rid of him. theyre going to have to push the raiders to fire him. or wait for the apology etc and hold on and pray it blows over.
