All the earth wanted was NFL jobs for Urban’s Meyer and Jon’s Gruden. Bob Poops better watch his ass.
He may have survived the first comment as a one time thing from long ago but once the ones came out today it was only a matter of time. There's probably more out there too, honestly. Did it come out how/why emails from 10 years ago were being reviewed? Did someone tell them to go look or what?
So the NFL investigates the washington football team. Doesnt remove its owner. But thru this investigation takes down Gruden. That's interesting.
The NFL literally took the Panther's away from their owner. They've done it in the past As a WFT fan, fuck Dan Snyder and their bullshit punishment
No, it's an employer choosing not to employ someone bc the employee embarrassed them. That's consequences of actions.
I feel like with the lips comment he was going to be able to stay as coach. When the Michael Sam "queers" comment came out, game over. Also in regards to the F word comment, unfortunately in 2011, that word was used a lot. 10 years ago, I would bet over 50% of us on here had said it. But lord putting it an email, you deserve to get caught
I say no coach could “survive” these kinda leaks, but if we’re being honest, Riley Cooper was caught on video saying he was gonna “fight every ****** in here” and didn’t even get suspended. Mark Davis coulda sat him down for 5 games. A whole lot of people woulda rightfully upset. There’d always be jokes about it, but everyone woulda moved on eventually. If this was Sean McVay, he’d still be the coach of the Raiders. Jon Gruden just isn’tworth the trouble at this point.
It was a legitimate question, I am already seeing takes on it that it’s cancel culture so I was curious what some on here thought. I don’t disagree with it but I think it’s partially cancel culture. You have a Bay Area franchise dependent on sales where the leader is making racist or homophobic remarks. That’s cancel culture in my eyes but I don’t see it as being wrong.
