Sorry about the pic. I swear it looked better when I took it.
Due to a very stressful job, stress-eating, easy access to food, etc., I have gained about 90 pounds in 1.5 years. The number on the scale was not really surprising, but still shocking and disappointing. I had lost 160 pounds since 2015. I’m now closer to my start weight than my weight 1.5 years ago. Gotta change ASAP.

Also I'd just like to put everyone on notice and say you're welcome for basically giving you a one month head start but it's about to be on because I'm dialed back in on the diet and exercise now for the first time since September.

I'm in. i'll get my before pictures taken tonight or in the morning. Weighed in at 227.6 this morning after a weekend where I probably overdid it on the booze. Though I had a big win when I threw away half of my kid's pop tart this morning.
But got a good workout in this morning and meal prepped plenty of chicken/veggies/couscous for the week. So it's on.
Couscous is just balls of pasta fwiw. If you’re watching out on the carb front.
yeah we went light on those. i'm not doing a complete carb removal. just reducing portions and avoiding going out.

i love couscous and refuse to believe something so small and light has calories so its super healthy imo
so what did you do that first week?
I ate an ungodly amount of food that last weekend. That was mostly bloated water weight.
-Working out in the morning before I’ve eaten. I started a higher intensity workout program that I definitely feel has given my metabolism a boost.
-Drinking protein shakes during the day and save the vast majority of calories (~2,000 per day, but haven’t been perfect with that) for dinner. I do pretty well during the day but the Cookie Monster comes out at night so that’s always been the most challenging aspect of the whole process for me.
Cracked it after eating like shit Super Bowl Sunday.
This was so much easier last year when I was single and working a lot less/with the same schedule every week.
I’ve got to figure out a balance.

Sitting in a hotel bar about 10 beers deep contemplating how much I actually hate my job.......this week will not be kind on the scale
Moving back to the south from ND in probably a month. That's gonna be absolutely awful on the scale. Can only eat so many healthy snacks before that craving for something salty while I drive hits

Work travel week - looks like I will really need to rethink my strategy when traveling for work, because man I fall off the rails.
Back to starting weight of 261
227.6 this morning with a vendor work dinner tonight. so really focused on minimizing snacks today so I don't go off the rails tonight.
Half of our contestants have recorded a weight in every week so far and we've lost 628 pounds combined
