In. Thanks for setting this up again. The first half of 2020 was very good -- lost close to 40 pounds. The second half of 2020 paralleled Michigan's season.
Gonna be a rough start for me as I'm moving again in the second week of January, so likely eating like trash still while I pack everything. Town I'm moving to does have a gym and since it's tiny I won't feel too bad about covid hopefully. Had to quit going here a few months back because it went from maybe 5 total people wearing masks to 15-20 without masks. Paying up for WW again. Their app worked way better for me than MFP.
Starting and then ending if you place. No need to post. Pics of scale to start and end too. It’s in the OP.
I’ll join. I’m down probably 20ish lbs depending on the day throughout 2020 but I want to lose more and have been eating like crap since Christmas so need to get back on it. Probably won’t win but this will hopefully keep me motivated. JeremyLambsFace please PM me your Venmo and I can send you the 25 bucks.
JeremyLambsFace sorry I'm going to drop out, please remove me from the OP list. Thanks. If the timing was better I'd definitely play, but I've already lost a good chunk of lbs and don't think I have enough left to lose to really make it worth it. Good luck to you all! I'll pass along a recommendation that is working pretty well for me... the app Lose It! - makes it very easy to track calories, set a target weight loss, and the daily # of calories to reach that goal. IN!!! Keto, IF, and 30 mins on the stair stepper everyday got me 2nd place a couple years back. Will rerun the same game plan. Kept the weight off till COVID. Gained over 30 pounds since March, it’s been bad.

Competition is open, payment info is out. Go ahead and start posting weigh-in pics, make sure to include your username and the date in the scale picture. No need to post your before full-body shot unless you win and need to verify for winnings. Unless you are ahebrewtoo and I anticipate want to just grace us all with a glorious shot of your naked thighs
I will post first weigh in a little later this week when I am back home. Probably going to miss next week though while I move
Pretty disappointed here. Apparently drinking a billion DDH IPAs every day during the last 4 months of lock down hasn't done my body well, even though I'm working out almost daily. Baby Born 205 6 months later 265.8 It's just muscle, right? no drinking for 2 months. Keto jump start for at least 2 months
For some reason, the weight doesn’t show up when I take pictures (this is the 3rd time I’ve tried). 176.5, but I’ll try again if need be.
What’s everyone thinking in terms of their plan? Since my original plan of only drinking water until April has been banned, I’m just going to stick to the “CICO” diet and keep riding my peloton as much as I can. Going to start mixing in some weights though too.
Diet I'm doing WW still. My goal is to try and stay 3-5 points away from my daily points goal and to not use any weekly points but to supplement with a lot of free points that come from protein (lean meats like chicken/turkey, eggs, etc) since I'm doing a lot of lifting. Exercise-wise I am going to shoot to do 3-5 days of Couch to 5K training in the mornings with Crossfit every evening after work and on Saturdays if I can get there. Also play a fair bit of softball and league seasons will get kicked off in February so that'll be a little extra activity after crossfit and full-day tournaments on Saturdays to stay moving. Sunday is my rest day but I committed to doing a hot yoga class with my wife on Sunday afternoons. Other than that my main focus will be to try and drink a couple of gallons of water a day and trying to get 6-8 hours of sleep every night.
What WW program? Aren’t there a few options now? I did WW back when it was just the “classic” one, probably like 2013 and lost 75lbs in 8 months and it felt so easy. That’s why I’ve always reverted back to basic calorie counting. I definitely need to do better about drinking water and sleeping better that’s 100%.
Yeah they have 3 versions of the program now. Green - almost nothing is considered 0 points outside of vegetables and you get more daily points Blue - medium amount of daily points but now lean meats, fruits, eggs, are 0 points Purple - least amount of daily points and now in addition to blue 0 point foods healthy starches and some healthy fats are considered 0 points I still do blue because that's the same as the standard plan was when I joined.
