    How often do you guys weigh yourselves? I don’t want to be tied to the scale so at the moment my plan is just Monday morning check in and then Saturday Morning to see how the work week went.

    More than I should, but I kind of like doing it. I've been weighing myself almost every morning for the last several months. And I occasionally step on the scale during the evening just to see how it will fluctuate.

    Week 1, definitely de-bloated and had Ketosis dehydration kick in. Lifted 4 days. Did 20 minutes of HIIT 7 days. 0 beers consumed.

    Lifr Hack: last night I contracted a stomach virus from my child. From approximately 9pm until 6 am I've never shit more in my life. Additionally I have never thrown up more in my life. More liquids came out of my body than I knew possible. Lost around 8 pounds in 24 hours :laugh:

    I weigh myself almost every morning, but am still surprised how much it can fluctuate day to day, so I don’t really pay much attention. I have an app I use to record my weight and usually “track” it Mondays, Wednesday’s, and Saturdays.

    When I did hardcore weight watchers back in like 2012 I only weighed myself at the actual place once per week. That was a tad more exciting and rewarding when I’d have good weeks. I also rarely did cheat meals, now I feel like I weigh myself after the weekend to make sure I didn’t mess up TOO bad.

    I check daily as well just to kinda see how my body reacts to things.

    Ever since I started doing more resistance training than pure cardio it seems my best weigh ins are after rest day, I’m guessing due to lack of inflammation.

    First Day back working out after being sick Sunday/Monday. I still feel weak as fuck. Did eat some General Tso's Tuesday to make myself feel better, probably not good for weight. I'll be interesting to see where I'm at Sunday. I know most of the 8# lost in 24 hrs was water weight & should gain most of it back after rehydrating.

    My diet has been decent this week. No fast food. No liquid calories. Mostly eating a salad every night with a protein. I do need to cut down on the wasted calories in the salad. I put back the bag of croutons last night at the store.

    I did eat $1 tacos for lunch Tuesday (3 hard shell chicken). =/
    I also need to pick up the pace during my cardio.

    These days I'm generally not a breakfast person. I'm almost pseudo intermittent fasting to an extent.

    Should I eat something small even if I'm not hungry or just let it ride? What if I workout in the morning?

    That's what happened Tuesday. I didn't eat breakfast. I was go go all morning through lunch, including some gym time. I was so hungry there was no going back. I knew the chips+salsa would be instant. This was around 1:45PM.

    This is how I am too, and it’s not really by design. Not a true fast, because I might drink a zero calorie energy drink or a coffee in the morning, but other than that I usually don’t eat anything until noon or so. Have been wondering the same thing, if it’s better I just eat something small in the morning even if it’s just like 100 calories.

    It sucks I can’t take advantage of this from a weight loss standpoint but generally I just rarely get hungry and sometimes on weekends if I splurge, I’ll be full for like 24 hours. Issue is sometimes I just get bored so I go grab a snack, even if it’s healthy it can add up depending on the day.

    I just read a blog post on this topic the other day. In reality neither skipping breakfast or eating breakfast is nescisarly better than the other. What skipping breakfast and intermittent fasting helps with is typically limiting the amount of calories you consume because you have a smaller window for consumption. On the flip side, if you are having a healthy breakfast that is good because they have found people typically get a more good nutrients over the course of the day when they start with breakfast. That a simple summation and after reading on it some I think the key for the average person is just to create a plan/lifestyle that will allow for healthy eating over the course of the day. I’ll be interested to see what happens with my weight this week. Last week I just did a zero calorie drink in the mornings, where until today this week I have had a bowl of cereal. My Lunch/Dinners didn’t change though.
