    I can live with it being I was on the lake surrounded by snacks all weekend and I cooked steak Saturday and Sunday.

    Back to the gym this morning. My cardio has been slightly better. I feel like I can jog and run a little further before my joints start bothering me too bad.

    I am motivated even more after getting compliments on the lake about how I've changed since last summer. Im nowhere near where I want to be, but it feels nice to know progress is being made.

    I've snacked on my daughter's chips and cheezits the last two nights really late, and both were overkill. :facepalm: like ate the entire can of lays stax bad. First time I've done that since this started.

    And I smoked my 5lbs of chicken thighs like always on Wednesday. I feel like I have eaten more of that than I need to the last two days as well. Like two for lunch and two maybe three for dinner. Shits too good.

    I'm bowing out. Good luck to everyone and hopefully I can jump back in next year. The twins are just too much at the moment - eating whatever people bring over or delivery everyday, no sleep and no time to work out. Hope I can just maintain my weight right now and then get back on track once these boogers head to daycare.

    I went to the gym my normal 4 days and lifted. I feel like I did more cardio this week than before. Guess my diet had too many snacks and slip ups.

    Then today I hit a new low of 223.6.

    Yesterday was gym in the morning for my normal lift. Ate only fruits, vegetables + avocado oil, and a protein shake. Took a cleansing shit after the vegetable dinner. Went back to the gym for 10 minute on stairs (35 flights). 15 minute in 12.5 incline and 5 min flat treadmill at 3.1 (total 1 mile).

    I said only veggies this week, but I have some crappie I caught Saturday. I'm throwing them in the air fryer tonight to see how that works. Just seasoning. Maybe try a piece with a dab of Avocado oil.

    If you’re lifting pretty regularly I would probably not cut out the meat just to try to win this comp.

    Gonna end up hurting yourself.

    I'm only doing it for a few days this week. I'm taking a day road trip to Memphis on Saturday. I'm probably going to murder everything at Central BBQ while I'm there.

    And now today I hit 221.6

    I missed my workouts yesterday, but I also barely ate. I was busy and just didn't get hungry. Had like a banana, a peach, and maybe 2-3 servings of nonfat plain greek yogurt around noon. Then a couple of bananas throughout the day. Then a midnight snack of few pieces of ham and a slice of cheese when I finally got home.

    I'm not starving or really hungry at all this morning just like usual days.

    At least I’m consistent. I’ve been working out 4 times a week for the last 3 weeks and feel like I’m getting stronger. My wife commented that I’m looking slimmer in the midsection. Not losing any weight though.

    Weight is just a number. This is also about creating a lifestyle change. Working out 4x a week is great stuff.

    Hit 220 this morning. I don't even want those bbq nachos today or to eat anything for the 4th tomorrow.

    Last two days I've been putting my food in MFP finally. Under 1500 calories while getting 150 and 170gs of protein.

    I went to add my weight, and an old weight was there from the last time I used the app.

    1/24/12 - 220 Goal 190.

    So that's where I'm at today.

    Pretty surprising/skeptical of this. Was hoping to be 206. Been working a ton and a little stressed so maybe eating less. I did have a terrible workout Friday and felt exhausted. Maybe related.

    So much for my bbq nachos in memphis today.

    For real keep it up man. You've hit it hard since Jan. I had knee problems in late Feb/Mar that sidetracked me in the first comp this year. Wish I had those months back.

    It's always looking back at those months, it's annoying. I have about 6-8 weeks that I hovered at 235-240.

    My progress is going to slow a lot here soon. I'd be surprised if I get below 190.

    If I can get to 195 by end of July and 190 by end of August I'll be happy.

    30 sec on, 10 sec off, 5 cycles, 60 sec break between cycles; this gives me 35 minutes of straight cardio/strength

    Jumping jacks
    Bicycle crunches
    Squat jumps
    Dead bugs
    Curls & shoulder presses
    Jump rope
    Russian twists
    Mt climbers
    Leg lifts
    Planks

    Weighed in at 249.8 this morning

    After two hours of yard work and the above workout…it’s all water weight

    If I'm 200 at the end of this competition, im happy as hell. I will want to keep going. Not going to say exactly what I will do after labor day, but I may try to bulk if I can keep this momentum going for the next 8 weeks.

    Hit 219.2 Saturday morning. Not mad that I ate food on the 4th weekend to bloat up. I didn't gorge or anything. I did get loaded fries at Central BBQ on Saturday. But I walked 1.5 miles each way to get them. Last night after the lake, we wound up at a party with pizza. I would have stuck with only two pieces if it wasn't for my daughter constantly handing me 3/4ths of hers saying daddy hold this while she runs off. :yolo:
