    Should have entered this one just so I’d stay on track. Been going back to work 2-3x a week plus work is stressful as crap right now so I’m really struggling some days to stay with the diet/get on the peloton when I get home.

    Might have to start posting my weight in here just to feel like someone will judge me if I’m not losing weight lol

    4th of July and my/wife’s birthdays being today (same day, we’re adorbs) always makes the first week of July rough. Not even going to weigh until probably Saturday after a few good days back on.

    Saturday evening and all day yesterday became a free for all. I had weighed 219.4 for 4-5 days straight last week, including two days ago on Saturday morning.

    I know I didn't gain 5+ lbs of fat in 36 hours. But I did eat a lot of food that I should not have. Already went to the gym today and had a healthy lunch to go with it.

    Still not losing any weight even though my wife says I look less fluffy. I’m getting much stronger though.

    Edit: didn’t get the Apple Watch until 7/5 so that’s 6 sessions since then. Pretty much 4-5 per week.

    I have a garmin instinct. It’s not super advanced, but I like it a lot. Switched from an early gen Apple Watch Sport

    I bought an Apple Watch because I’m a basic bitch and don’t really need any of the fancy features. It’s a completely unnecessary device. I only use it for my workout stuff, sleep tracking and texting my wife pictures of dicks I draw in the shower.

    My wife is a fitness nut and uses all the specific shit that comes with her watch. She swears by Suunto for her wearables.

    Started tracking calories the past 4 days. 1500 cal/day is an unrealistic goal I've learned.

    Been on a 2000 calorie diet for the past 2 years. The thing that helped me more than anything else was saving as many calories as I could for dinner bc I hated going to bed hungry and basically being a little hungry 24/7.

    started skipping a meal every day to do that. Just set a realistic calorie goal and find any way to do it that works best for you imo

    My calories were averaging about 1300 when I was on keto last year. The combination of eating filling, low calorie foods, and nixing carbs, which contain a shit load of calories, kept me satisfied. Lost about 105lb during that time. There were days when I was munching on slim Jim’s or cheese sticks at my 7pm cutoff to get my calories to 1200 so MFP didn’t yell at me.
    Obviously this is not the most recommended way to go about it. I had more than enough body fat to handle that calorie load. I felt great, but ymmv.

    My days looked like a light breakfast of an egg and sausage, lunch was a meal bar, dinner and snacks were a range of things like cheese, meat sticks or jerky, grilled chicken, almonds, pork rinds, and such.

    Yep. I didn’t do keto but I generally tried to avoid carbs (especially the worst kinds : sugar, white bread, white rice, pasta) mainly because they don’t keep you full at all.

    Stick to lean protein and vegetables and you can basically gorge yourself and not hit your limit.

    I'm surprised I'm actually down again, I have been slacking as far as working out goes. I've been eating a lot more keto-type meals for lunch so maybe that's helping. Using Factor75 pre-prepared meals for lunch and a couple dinners a week. Mixing in some Dr Pepper zero.

    Got back down below 220 again before the weekend. Then like clockwork I wasn't disciplined. I missed working out as well last week except two days of lifts. That's the least since this started.
