No tips but I love my fitbit. Great for the steps obviously but I love the sleep tracking. It let's you know how often you were awake and how much sleep you actually got.
Eye opening how poorly I sleep during the work week. I need to get better but I won’t. I average 4 hours and 15 minutes. One night I had 14 minutes of deep sleep
Weekends I average anywhere from 9 to 11 hours lol
It's amazing how differently I feel depending on sleep. 4 hours would kill me. I'm between 5 and 6 during the week and when I can average closer to 7 I feel so much better.

Nothing to do with weight loss, but my 25 pound weighted blanket has helped me get into a deep sleep for a while now. It’s a smaller area, too being 48 x 75ish, so it’s more condensed — a good thing.
How much do one of those cost

Anywhere from $80-$250. I have one at home that I tote to one station, but I leave another at my full-time place. Both were in the $150 range, but probably because I got the heaviest weight. You’re supposed to do around 10% of your body weight, if I recall correctly.
But honestly, I should correct myself — good sleep has a LOT to do with weight loss/maintaining good health.

I will say this... The ridiculous comforter my wife registered for from Pottery Barn was far more expensive and far less useful.

Banana for breakfast. Grabbed a ranch cauliflower bag inside of riced. Yolo. Only ~ 50 more calories per bag. It's tasty.
I did late night snack yesterday on nuts and bolts check mix someone gave me over the holidays.
Cool. I have an auto pap machine so as long as I put that on and leave it on all night my sleep is money. I had to order a new band for the Fitbit. The one she had was starting to castrate my hand.

What days to we do the update weigh ins?
The weekly weigh-in is on Monday (until the final week). If you post your weight on Tuesday or Wednesday (maybe Thursday—especially for this week), that’s included in the current week. If you weigh on Friday or the weekend, I’ll record it as the following week’s weight. It’s not an exact scientific, I try to be flexible. It would, of course, make my life easier if everyone weighed on Monday like they are supposed to. But we’re trying to lose weight, not playing Monopoly.

I put a reminder for 11am every Monday to weigh in. I recommend the same for everyone. Of course normal people work then so set your times accordingly.
Back to back 10k step days lets go
Tonight was bad.
Had a work dinner with vendors buying.
Stuck to chicken but it was confit with skin on. Plus bread and salad.
2 vodkas and wine.
Back to the grind tomorrow.
Had some spicy stir fry cauliflower and an Asian marinated chicken breast. Nailed it.
Being a bar manager of a college bar has its perks on the busy days. Really easy to hit my goals.
6,655 calories? Pretty sure that's not accurate. Calories burned on those things and cardio machines usually aren't right imo. A lot of factors come into play.
At his current size with that activity level it's probably close to accurate
I'm not sure how much he weighs, but even if it was 300 lbs, 6k cals for 15k steps plus whatever his body normally burns at a sedentary level seems high.
So what. The calorie burner isnt accurate. I see 15k steps at 7 miles.

Is it counting the 2,400-3,000 the body burns on a daily basis?
Yes. Someone BRC's size would start with a base rate north of 3,000 calories and he said he's lifting weights and he took 7 miles worth of steps. Its probably fairly close to being accurate.
You don't just lose close to a pound a day over a three month period without having close to a 3500 calorie a day deficit.
Yeah between my size and the fact that I’m doing a bunch of shit at the gym that’s why that numbers that high.
If I lay in bed all day for 24 hours I’ll burn around 2900 calories.
When I’m at work running around and stuff my heart rate stays elevated which is also burning more calories.
And again it may not be completely accurate but I don’t even pay attention to that. It’s the other parts of the tracker that I worry about.

Took this Monday but didn't post it because I was traveling for work all week.
Got home last night and I was not happy with how my week went. Fucking catered lunches and client dinners are not good for healthy habits.
