Mostly that, but I didn't keep it contained. Some friends and I had planned our annual bball trip for this past weekend back in October. So being in Knoxville Fri-Sun didn't help the diet. Surprisingly it wasn't more.
Thanks went back again after work got another 45 mins in last night for a total of 6 miles between the 2 workouts. Easily the most cardio I’ve done since high school and binge watching a series removes the distaste for cardio
Go back to the new habits today.

Fuck the super bowl. Skip the bad food
The guy who throws our outdoor cornhole Super Bowl Eve party text me a pic of the 33 lbs of pork butt he picked up for smoking. Zero chance I don’t eat 3 lbs of it myself. Not to mention the Apple Pie ‘moonshine’. That’s all the day before the game.
I feel great about this week so far. Down about 2lbs since Monday and actually feeling great. Did a late workout last night and back there this afternoon. Might get feisty and go back after work tonight. We’ll see how the shift goes since PSU already cancelled classes tomorrow because of temps. Bunch of pansies they are.
I’ll just down chicken wings all day so i’ll be good.

I’ve been eating late nights on Saturdays and then fasting until Monday AM for about the last eight weeks. 36hrs. Super Bowl Sunday is my test this week. Think I’ll be fine but I‘ll need to get the toxins from the drinking I’ll be doing on Saturday.
90 mins straight on the treadmill for 1438 calories burned. Got talked into a Terrain Race in 10 days so hoping I’ll be ready and under 300lbs

Weighed in at 206.2 this morning.
Down 12 pounds for the contest. Breaking into the 100’s will be a nice milestone for me. Haven’t been there in a couple years.
In addition to my workouts, I’ve been doing some intermittent fasting and trying to kep my carb intake to less than 100g per day.
I’m also planning to slam chicken wings all day tomorrow.
Been feeling pretty good. Down two belt buckles and it fits comfortably. Energy is way up, too, as expected. Getting up to workout in the morning is becoming easier and easier, whereas I would always delay my workouts until later in the evening before.
Drop that number down to 20 and come join us Ket-Bros
i found the biggest problem for me- I love apples. Those fuckers have like 25 grams of carbs in each.
Seems like what he’s doing is working and is more sustainable.
If I have a really good weekend (I’m going out tonight so we’ll see) I may post another double digit loss this week. Either way happy with where I’m at so far.
Just FYI, we are wrapping up Week 3 and about to start Week 4. The first weigh-in didn't count as a "week."
75% drunk, managed to only eat a bunch of pulled pork. Bipassed cookies, chips, and donuts. Did have about 6 beers and 5-6 shots of apple pie moonshine.

Stayed in my cals, had a nice workout, got in the sauna — success. Dudes at work here cooked an insane amount of delicious food, but I passed. Just ate what I brought for shift.
I'm drinking 100 beers cause this is awful.

Thanks, man. I'm finally hitting my groove when it comes to the keto/Atkins lifestyle (not just diet). I only used to be able to make it two weeks without having to throw in a cheat day, which led to more cheat days, which led to disintegration of the dieting. I've just been doing really well of late (four weeks on Phase 1 Atkins, targeting 20 carbs a day, mainly through green veggies). Some of my old triggers (drinking beer, kids having sweets) have not phased me this time. Hoping I can just keep this up as a lifestyle and not a diet.
This competition is dumb
Steady as we go, still haven’t gotten myself in gear. Work is super busy, hope to get to a better place over the next couple weeks.
Weren't some people clamoring to make Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday? I was just acting in solidarity with those folks.
