motion to next year add penalties for defenses giving up 35+ or something. right now 22 points allowed is the same as 100

 

I agree but I'd raise it to the 40-45 range.

something like

0 for 22-30
-3 for 31-40
-5 for 41-50
-8 for 50+

that's fair. I still don't get why a D that gives up 35 and has a sack should be positive, but that's still a big step up from what we have now

 

Defense shouldn't be that important and definitely shouldn't cost you 10 points.

 

they're too important now, that's the problem. UNC gave up 507 points last year and still averaged 9.5 fantasy points per game last year

 

Then reduce how many points you gets for sacks and turnovers.
