I know I've read that a couple posters have gotten Covid-19, but would be interested in how many and when/where If you have or had it post itt with your experience please
Bump. Curious to see if anyone else has tested positive on here apart from those in the covid info thread. Found out today two more people I know have it, both symptomatic.
I had it last week. Caught it while traveling home to Nashville. About passed out in downtown Nashville and thought it was from the heat
got tested yesterday because i had a fever and have a cough seems like i know 5 new people with it every day now
No known cases here, but we just opened the borders to tourists and the Floridians are pouring in so it won't be long
Probably from a gym. That was the only time we were apart and she didn’t get it. My symptoms were shortness of breath, chills, sweats, headache behind my right eye. I did lose my smell and taste later on. I thought I got overheated since I’m not used to being out in the heat. Symptoms just continued for the next few days and when I was seeing patients, I had soaked my scrub top through after doing nothing more than a slow walk through the hospital. Few days of drugs and rest and I feel fine. Back to work tomorrow
Got tested on the 25th after feeling lightheaded, running a slight fever, and a cough. Got a positive result back 8 days later. Lightheadedness and fever went away after a day or two. Cough still here.
I had it a few weeks ago. I had a low grade fever for three days and lost my taste and smell for several days. Overall not too bad. No clue where I got it from.
The reports of lightheadedness and dull headaches as symptoms are making me concerned about the last 48 hrs of my life but I just finished 30 minutes on the treadmill without any issues
Sometimes I get a cold when I fly. When I didn’t feel better, I got tested. Three days of symptoms, only one day of patient contact.
Not trying to be a dick but I think if someone gets sick after being on a plane with a bunch of people, they should assume the worst and isolate until a test is completed. I was just in close in contact with someone at work, sitting across a desk from each other, that tested positive a few days later. I didn't have any symptoms but I stayed away from my office until I got a negative test back. If everyone would practice an abundance of caution, we'd all be better off. Seeing patients while showing symptoms after being on a plane just seem reckless to me. I'd be beyond livid if I were a patient. Did you contact the patients?
Most common symptoms I’ve heard from co-workers/friends/family is head cold, slight fever, and sore throat. My buddy was diagnosed with it and ran 8 miles that same day. So I’m not sure that has any bearing for some people.
Nice to see I'm not alone. I could always get an excuse/Dr. Note in college with it. So it had its upside for a bit.
My allergies are so bad this time of year I’m paranoid as fuck right now. Also most of my employees are age 16-21 so I feel like I’m constantly ranting about this shit to get their attention.
DBL I feel like this might be the rare occasion where it’s okay to be a dick. You have the green light to be a massive throbbing dick.
Changes in temp/pressure always get to me, so every time it’s actually cool and nice out I think I’ve got the rona
Why in the hell were you in downtown Nashville at all during this time? Nashville is one of the hardest hit cities in the state and downtown is damn sure not where id go right now.
Also skeezy I damn sure hope you are not going back to work until you have a negative test. Just because you feel fine doesn't mean you are.
Wife Tested Positive. Had a fever and soar throat. She lost her since of smell and we knew she'd test positive. This is day 10 now and she has a pretty bad cough. I took a test Thursday and I'm still waiting on my results. I haven't shown any symptoms.
I’d like an antibody test because I had like every symptom in February not long before we started getting serious about it. Not sure if it’s been too long to tell, plus it’s been a huge pain to find one in this state.
Current cdc recs (And my institution’s) are 14 days after first positive test and without symptoms for 3 days.
I'm getting tested Thursday. I've had a bad cough (not a dry one) and sinus stuff for about a week. No fever or any other symptoms, though.
Wife was born with no sense of smell. Could she be patient zero? Edit: Son has no sense of smell either. Things that make you go hmm.
Brother, sister-in-law and nephew all have it. He's been bed-ridden for 11 days with fever, nausea, vomiting, shits, you name it. She has double pneumonia for last two weeks. Nephew has mild case right now. Brother said he has lost 15 pounds so, silver linings. She's in health care but I'm willing to bet they both contracted it by going out to bars as soon as the state re-opened. They're selfishly reckless.
I had a lot of symptoms that really matched COVID-19 around Halloween but seems like a real stretch to have contracted it that long ago. Couldn't really taste anything and I did nothing but walk to table to eat soup and go to bed for like 10 days.
