I am not going to leave the league but I agree with DBL. Its going to suck for some team with a top 3 pick to Draft Amare next year because he has "A'" scouted pot. and then when his actual pot. is revealed he is sitting with a "D" I mean look at Joe Johnson he is a "f" right now but he could be better then that once drafted. How shitty would it be if JJ is the last pick in the Draft because of his current "f" but ends up one of the best players in this game. Anyways I am still ready to move OUT of the first round if some one is willing to move up.
Think of it as real life. I bet the Wizards wish they knew Kwame Brown's actual potential was a D or the Pistons w/ Darko's actual potential being the same.
Joe Johnson is an A right now, it's fixed. And guys don't really vary that much, like A to D type shit. Once again, it's just like real life in that aspect.
This. This is almost the entire premises of the game. Alot of NBA GMs were scared of Amare going into that draft even though he was top 5 level. He slipped to 9 and the rest is history. Also the Joe Johnson issue has been fixed awhile ago.

There was no mock draft as far as I know. We're on our own with this thing. Little overwhelming I'd say. I pick 26th currently and only have a cheat sheet of about 5 guys with 1 guy being who I really want...lol
There isn't a mock draft I don't think. It's because this is just the initial draft to make teams. I think when dbl mentioned a mock draft he was talking about the regular drafts that would happen each offseason.

there was another guy I kind of feel like I should have taken instead but I think Rashard just had more :dre: and I wanted a big man who could shoot the 3 plus he has the same ratings as Dirk who went 6th except Dirk has B for Inside scoring and Rashard has B-
He was one of the 5 guys I had on my list to be honest. His ratings really jumped out at me. Nice pick!

4-5 shockers? I wonder what constitutes a shocker. Since you are experienced it would seem that they shouldn't be shockers, but I hope I am not so off base with my guys that there should be 4-5 players I wouldn't fathom choosing that an experienced player would.
I guess like for example in the Baseball draft when that Simpson guy got picked in the first round and he was barely in BA's top 200 stuff like that
So you have 4-5 guys that you don't think would really be anywhere in most of ours top, what?, 100? Kind of crazy to think about and must mean you expect us to be way off base with our picks. So who do you think was a suspect or wrong pick thus far?
He might just be taking a different strategy than other people. No pick so far has been wrong. There are just different ways you can go about making your team. Win now vs. build for future, etc.
A few non top 100 guys . A couple of really late top 100ish guys . I agree with all of the picks so far nothing wrong any of them Exactly different strategy then other people thats all it is .
My strategy is to tank for Mike Dunleavy Jr. so I can build a proper dynasty starting 02-03 season. CHAMPIONSHIP!

I have a few deals on the table. And I really hope lulu and pick number 11 don't select who every some of you guys are targeting. Also I am having some trouble trying to make a projected order. So many letters. If anyone has pointers they like to share I would appreciate it.
Wish I could help, I've never been good at making cheat sheets for myself in fantasy sports. This thing is even harder since it's just a bunch of letters. Basically I just have a big list of guys I would like to draft in no particular order.
Yeah last thing I want to do is give someone advice. The thing that helps me is putting it in excel and sorting by what I think is important for each position.
