Also, yesterday was the best day ever for my packs. Yesterday alone I got Ronald Acuña in a Ballin is a Habit pack, and then Trout in a Team Affinity pack a few hours later.
Roster update time. Large volume buys, most of these cards I bought for less than 50 when it dips. The nice part about doing this is that it was very handy for the TA2 on guys who I just dumped in en masse without having to put in 100 orders to try and get my money back. Anyhow, $ for the exchange was still as cheap as you could get so I am just going to keep stacking these dudes and buying at 15-20 a time. Still holding, can't buy cheap. Jazz, Tapia, Mullins, JD, Teoscar, Yordan. Cheap guys I am loading up on. Mountcastle, Cease, Skubal, Kaprielian, Irvin
And of course they put the Kitchen Sink 2 packs out on a Friday, knowing damn well drunk TimJim is gonna get liquored up this weekend and piss away his hard earned flipping stubs.
I’ve been fluctuating from 200k-300k because of headliners and buying topps now for the monthly programs. Trout well over 500k… and I just want Chipper
Forgot that the Monthly programs required the missions to get the reward card so I've luckily squeezed some catch-up into the TN moments during the workday this week to build out the team. Gonna use them to run through the TA conquests and try to kill two birds with one stone. I'm sure someone one here has mentioned doing that and I forgot, but I can't believe I haven't been doing that shit.
I’ll admit my plate discipline is non existent when I’m trying to grind through moments but that said I am not impressed with the Semien card. Seems like anything I hit even good/perfect contact is pretty weak considering his ratings and what not.
Seems to be the consensus with him. Ratings are solid but he plays way below them. Buxton wad the opposite.
yes. You just have to post a team before your first game. After that, you have 5 subs that you can use
Pretty sure it goes off what guys are today with inside edge. Soto is +2, Castellanos is +1, Olson is +3, and Muncy is +4. That makes my team a 91.
but I think the base rating in the diamond is the only factor. I'm messed around with subbing in people a decent amount to figure it out
I made it work. Sub'd diamond Olson, which was a 90 today, for gold 82 Winker and then upgraded pitching and still a 90.
Just got him for the second time against a guy whose RS record was 220-191 I just want to make Wild Card
I had three hits against him. Wall scraper with Buxton, a double, then a single to knock a guy in. One hit the guy and now I am Divisional Series, so already what sucked is going to be horrible.
Yea Cabrerra isn't too bad on lower levels with big BCI, but HOF is impossible. He's just throwing darts moving all over the place.
Just led off the game with a Buxton bomb on the second pitch and the dude quit before it landed lol fucker
Ok so I see some guys and half their team is hitting .400 with a 1.500 OPS. Is that from playing vs the cpu for parallel? TLAU I noticed a lot of your guys were high. Is that from cpu games or was that from your first 2 league games?
I sent Crochet back to the Redsox minor league team. Put up 9 on him before a 9-1 disconnect against the A's. And mercy ruled the Marlins in 7. Pretty disappointed in my bats against Glavine today
Am I nuts or is there not just a “normal” defensive positioning. I hate having the huge shifts online for certain guys depending how I’m pitching and it won’t let me select normal.
Gotcha so yours were in the first couple games. Got it. What about guys in ranked? I 1 hit a guy this week that had 1.500 ops for almost every hitter in his lineup. He was terrible so I know that's not from ranked. I know some people do cpu games bc you get parallel upgrades if you have 8 ab's for your team before quitting. Do those stats show in ranked and on your player card?
On ps5, you go to defensive shifts and hit triangle. It pulls up player specific positions and lets you set normal depth and normal alignment for the entire game.
Ah ok, I did see that but didn’t want to use too much of my clock online messing with it and regret it later on.
