Just got back Tuesday so watching the market, and have been out of the loop. I packed a Cole and sold him. Also, I would not imagine he goes up much, if any, considering he is out for the season.
I could have a team full of 125 125 contact/power players and still only manage 3 hits in a game. I give up
May or may not work for you, but look for guys with higher vision. Can see the ball better and make adjustments easier IMO. Obvious downside being you're not going to hit all kinds of dingers, but the more hits the more fun.
finished 4th inning got trout as 91+ overall player sold him only need the two new guys on the mets and yankees to finally complete the live series collection and also completed the Rivera collection
Side note, I just had a great game, tied in the 10th inning. I tried to do a double-switch but instead canceled my move, which made me pitch with my second basement in the bottom of the fucking 10th for 3 batters (thanks Manfred). Still won thankfully
Completed the inning so no rush to get Trammel but he looked insanely easy. Just used 88 goodrum in events and completed all missions fairly quickly. I traded in, don’t even think I got to bronze players for the full amount. Just waiting on moments cause I don’t need the XP or player yet.
well in that case, Cruz is pretty easy. Do the first 2 moments, then exchange will get you to 20. Knock out the other moments to get to 40 and set up a CPU game with all RFs at Shippet for the 3 HR mission
doesn’t even need to be secondary. Just play on rookie there and you’ll hit 3 HR real quick and you can quit the game.
I completed today as well and was hoping for Trout but got my 3rd Scherzer. I remain 200k-ish stubs from completing LS.
RTTS in my opinion with the double XP going on. Was getting 1k on most regular games and 4k on pitching games. But of the ones you listed probably Showdown.
ohhaithur you can do Conquest too. I was getting 4-5k per 3 inning game last night. Just hit a bunch of dingers.
Think I’ve opened something like 200+ BIAH packs, regular packs, basically any pack that isn’t a guaranteed diamond and haven’t pulled a single diamond. on quite the dry spell
I just got close to 10K for playing a game of ranked. Because I didnt play much last "season" I am pretty low at the moment. If you need to get lower just join a few games, forfeit and then you'll face some players that should enable some hits.
Pablo card is garbage this year. Last year it was nuts. This year swing sucks and he has like 5-7 routine errors for me.
nothing like 393-36 but I've been dominating this event. got to 40 wins in i think 6 entries at 40-12.
Thank you to whoever posted this guy itt way back. I took his advice and went in to target each type of card to the # he thought we'd need. Grabb Story for 37k, he's now 140k. Got Leiter for 97k, he's now 220k. Mazeroski was 13k, now 41k. List goes on. Saves me hundreds of thousands of stubs. If I were smart, I would have bought extras on all of them. Had no idea they'd go up that much. The signature, awards, and milestone will probably go up even more as we get closer to the big collection.
sold wander and ralph and spent the rest of the money I had on Harper. Might end up taking Nolan as 5th inning boss or just use harper until I get my pick and sell him + take vlad.
I'm the complete opposite right now. Playing awful for 2+ weeks now. Just couldn't hit worth a shit. Went from 800 somethung to like 480 in ranked lol.. Just played my first game in 3 days, won 4-3 and hit better so maybe I'll bounce back.
In the events just make the starters throw pitches. Once they hit the “getting tired” threshold the PCI for the batter gets a lot bigger. Haven’t played ranked in a while so idk how it is out there
Yup, and if they are throwing someone I’m having a tough time picking up I’ll just contact swing them to rack up pitches. It really is a great way to help with patience if you’re overly aggressive at the plate.
Part of why I don’t play ranked anymore. Obvious they’re not worried about fixing the pinpoint stamina glitch. If I face someone and we both throw an ace and he uses pinpoint, my starter gets nerfed around 75p while his it throwing A+ control/break until the 15th inning. No thanks. sucks not playing with my DD team but maybe they patch it eventually or I’ll just keep playing events and BR
I've never seen a SP with good stamina gassed at 75 pitches. I bounce between pinpoint and meter and haven't seen much difference. I went 110 pgreen on meter for a CG with DeGrom last night and he was still greem.
weeeeeell that's either a lie or you weren't paying attention. not to be an ass but pitch a game with the same guy using each method and screenshot their stamina at 100 pitches. Pinpoint will be around 2/3 stamina and Meter will be well below half. The break on the ball and accuracy starts getting noticeably worse for me once the pitcher gets below 50%. Maybe that's due to my pitching view settings where I can see the "variance circle" get bigger throughout the game and the pitch break arrows start dwindling. I've compared SPs stamina vs. 3 diff people in our league when we threw the same guy in the same game. IIRC Cabrera was the worst variance when I played GBG. He took his Cabrera out around 100 pitches and he wasn't even yellow in the 9th. I had a to take out mine because he was red in the 8th inning. Pitch counts were maybe 7-8 off from one another when I had to sub mine out
it's broken enough for me that I tried to learn pinpoint for like a week and it was the sole reason for doing so. I'm pretty damn good at analog
There could be a factor in there as well about the pitch "intensity"... some people we play with were discussing you can't pitch "max intensity" with pinpoint? I know meter you can take it all the way to the end of the meter for max velo. For analog I notice sometimes the two triangle shaped areas on the left and right of the middle pull-back line are sometimes green, red, or yellow. I never thought much of it and initially thought it was "how good" your timing was and not possibly "how hard you pressed up on the release" which may be the case. So maybe it's a case of my analog pitching normally pressing up on the release harder than average thus all my pitches are "max velocity/effort" and decrease stamina more because of that as well. I've done a lot of comparison of analog vs. pinpoint stamina with the same SP and similar pitch counts in ranked and out custom league. You can tell if your opponent is pinpoint based on their stamina bar at 100 pitches 100% of the time
If you're Cabrera was red at 90 pitches, you're doing something wrong. I will say it doesn't bother me much bc after about the 7th I like to PH and go to the pen. Too many looks vs the same pitcher ends poorly. I don't remember the last time I had to pull a SP due to stamina.
Funny you mention this, I normally always use max intensity on fb when using meter. Last night I noticed I could use normal and DeGrom still throws 102 for the first 60 or so pitches. Dropped to 101 around there. Could still get 102 with max but rarely did. I wasn't using max at all so that's probably why I was green at 110.
He was red at 100 pitches. that's pretty standard for me with everyone not named glavine. at a minimum they get the "getting tired" alert by then. it's not even MY pitcher's stamina that's really my problem with it. using good discipline at the plate and driving up opposing SP pitch counts was a big part of my batting strategy the first two seasons of ranked before everyone was using Pinpoint. Getting no reward for being patient at the plate due to your opponents cabrera/degrom still throwing max velo/break at 120 pitches in the 7th or later ruins the whole idea of plate discipline
that could be the problem with my analog vs. PP then. its dumb though i don't even want max velocity it's just easier for me to throw the MFer at the target ball on the analog meter when I press it harder
Makes sense. I only use max on fb/sinker on meter so half or more of my pitches are on normal so that would make sense why my guy doesn't go down much. I don't use mqx on offspeed bc I want them slower.
I’m. It sure why anyone uses anything besides pinpoint. Easy and you get a lot more control of your spots.
