Glad isn’t the correct word, but I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s had this happen a bunch. I thought I was just insanely unlucky or something. Still insane these squeeze bunts get down with ease but when I’m doing a legit sac bunt with a pitcher the dude pops out to the catcher or bunts a line drive 20 feet foul.
Yea it feels like there's a low threshold, like 40 or something, that if you have that high in bunting then you're just a God. And it doesn't matter if the infield is in or not. And it doesn't matter if you throw a dot on a corner. The runner will always read it for you and the 2b will almost always sit back and wait for it to come to him. People do it bc it's incredibly easy, just hit triangle. They need to add a skill aspect to it. Idk what, maybe a PCI type thing that's bigger if you have high bunting. But it's infuriating to know what they are trying and I can't do a thing to stop it. One of the guys k'd 21 times yet won bc he could press triangle. There's nothing I can do. First time he was going to do it when he PH Tre Turner but I knew what he was trying and I walked him. So he PH Eric Davis next and he did it again and walked it off.
I don’t get how someone finds that to be fun. When I can’t hit I just take a few days off, I don’t try to bunt.
Yeah I started to look and then was like I am never figuring this out. Got a good laugh at how many people in replies were going “JETER!” only for someone to be like “That’s a left handed batter”
I wouldn’t sell any Takashi series cards until we see the requirements for the collection reward - certainly not at 125k.
Once I finish collections that the first thing I’m working towards. Had its own program and did virtually nothing to the prices of those.
Do they ever make a 100% collection requirement, as in you have to have 100% of a series to get credit toward the collection reward? Last year most were in the 70-80% range. Like if there were 20 2h cards, you needed 16 of them. There's currently 6 in the series, think they'll require 5 of them.
I don’t think so, but they also keep adding cards to the collection. So they might require 6/6 now, but in a month there will be 9 available. Mainly though, I’m thinking that because it’s impossible to obtain more than 3 (Delgado, Morgan as a BR flawless reward, and the one that the premium pre-sale editions got) through game play, that the prices will remain stable at minimum, if not go up.
Meant to post this a few days ago. This game was a good summary of the issues with this game. - 484 foot very early nuke HR - he got screwed by pressing circle on the change pitcher screen after PH for his pitcher, had to leave a position player on the mound - walkoff HR on a ball a foot inside
Game is such trash lol. He fouled a 2 strike pitch that would have hit him, tied the game later in that AB, then I walked it off on a pitch that I barely touched with my PCI. So much randomness that it's frustrating.
I have a dumb question. Is there any easy way to see all my garbage players I've collected in one place so I can sell them off for stubs? My Inventory>My Players takes you to that screen but it's by team and not convenient since I don't know who most of these shitbirds play for
I search through collections > live series and find the duplicates in the upper corners. No quick way to sell multiple
Got 1 game in after work last night. Won 8-2. Guy threw a slider down and away and i for whatever reason was just seeing the ball well. Tracked it and timed it up for a perfect perfect with bigio and hit a no doubter to cf. felt so damn good i didn’t even try to play another game last night
The companion app allows you to filter by duplicates. Hit the 22 logo, then my Inventory, filter, ownership, dupes.
It’s why I keep playing. First pitch, first AB with Frank hits a 101mph bomb of Duran. Won me the game, events, didn’t quit but should have. new Event today, on Hall of Fame, I’d imagine no power guys in Forbes or something dumb. I’m picturing bunt cheese.
Idk how they fix it. My suggestion would be to slow pitch speed down a tick and make PCI and timing mean way more. Bloop hits happen and seeing eye singles happen irl but man they just happen entirely too much on here. And don't get me started on the very early 484 foot HR's. That never ever ever happens irl.
I've had 3 Rowdy Telez homer quits now. His swing is so nice, give him a spin. I have to admit, the only reason I am is because his supercharge card was legit. He is a lot like Joc.
Recent addition Mr. Gary Carter hit a solo shot and he did not try to bunt again, we got the W. dblplay1212 Kluber was destroying me on RH inside sinkers. I never understand why people do this. I was so far behind until, he threw an inside change. My normal inside swing on that sinker is about inside change speed, so dumb.
So I faced 99 Randy on HoF. I only struck out five of the six times I stepped up to the plate. I somehow managed a double but sadly he didn't make it home. It felt like my PCI was an eraser tip.
Yea he's nasty. I have a 2.04 ERA with him. Was 1.78 iirc until last game and gave up 4 HR with him but still won. I have a low 3 ERA with Corbin, 4 something with Ohtani, then 5+ with everyone else. Just can't find a 4-5 that I'm solid with.
Logged on last night to get the daily reward + play a moment or two. Moment triggered a 5pack reward. Opened those and got a Gerrit Cole diamond. Maybe the next one will be a hitter( an outfielder)
Broke my diamond drought Sunday with an Aaron Judge. Also bought one after the roster update when he hit 91 for about 35k so now I have two extras and I told myself I was going to sell when he got to 60k. But after his double dong last night he's already up to 64k and I think I want to keep holding at least another week and see how much he goes up. Trying to buy up that NL East collection will be expensive.
Sell that shit mang! You’ll never go broke making a profit. I’ll sell crack to kids until live series is complete.
Yeah I was the same, just take the stubs and run if you don’t have Live completed. That advice also comes off me blowing pretty much every investment this year. So selling fot it done for me.
