It’s just dumb, outside of Events no one will use them a day after they complete the program outside of some random card that’s OP.
Yea depends on the cards. Edward was the meta pitcher for months. A few others were usable last year too. If they are 95 bc they are juiced with clutch, durability, discipline, and vision, then it's whatever. I'm cool with getting their name out there, just don't want them to be the dominant cards at any point.
I've completed every program entirely... Gotten as many Ballin is a Habit packs as you can possibly get by playing the game (It feels like hundreds of them, but I doubt it's quite that many), and have yet to get a diamond in one... Still.
Got a chase pack in a standard that got me FOFT Haniger who I sold for like 12K In a headliner pack I got 85 Turner who’s currently supercharged. Can’t decide if I sell him for 25-26K
I had 3 headliner packs last night, pulled 3 diamonds. Mattingly, Harper, and someone else I can't remember. Nobody crazy. I have about 12-15 duplicate diamonds that I can't decide if I want to sell or hold.
Dang saw there's a Takashi series collection coming tomorrow. I had all of them except Delgado so I copped him for 118,500 last night. Just checked and he's already 179k now. I wish I'd bought a few more.
Who will people want for that program? I need to take some inventory and see who I can unload. Don’t think I’ll mess with any collections so might be time to finally start spending stubs

Didn't realize a new ranked season started today. Maddux and Reggie are the rewards for 300 innings. You get one of Dontrelle, Ripken, or Posada from previous inning at 275 innings so that's nice.
Oh damn it's Babe? I have all of the Takishi cards but Maddux and he just released today so can't imagine you'll need all of them including him.
FOTF Votto has been crazy for me. He has 10 HR in 31 AB lol. I have other guys with better ratings but I just can't take him out.
I guess you do have to get ALL of them so you have to get the Maddux too. That's 300 innings so going to take some time lol
More will come out for sure though the thing that kills me about RS is how fucking awful the XP and pack rewards are. Part of that is me sucking ass, but it’s a brutal trade off.
Yea they made it easier to get the cards but the cards are ass. Kershaw is the only one I'm using and I think he has 2 starts. I'm using collection rewards and cap basically.

They’ve pretty much always done this. The boosting of live series is a nice touch this year. I’ve got my biggio card to level 4 and I’m 66/66 or i was yesterday.

I don't mind the content but having kids that have never played a game in the bigs be a 95 and Don Fucking Mattingly is a 94 is just stupid. We went several months last year in the middle of the season when the unquestioned best SP in the game was a kid that hadn't even made the bigs. All Star cards came out and he was still the meta. I wouldn't mind them if they were weeks 1-2 of the season at like 88 and then we forgot about then by mid-May. Them being 95s when the FOTF were 90 is laughable.

Listen, I agree 1000% but that’s more a product of a broken game/card than anything else. Dude was like Randy Prestige V broken last year you didn’t even need to aim half the time. That said, as a concept I hate the young guys, 2nd least interesting point of the game for me, only closely in front of god squad city. That said I’d really love a version of the game that really went all in on the different versions of the cards in some capacity. I’d play ranked live series all year long. Some version of ranked with legends, blah blah, similar to events. if someone loved prospects, I’d love for them to get horny on that all year, why the fuck not? Example love the super cards, LS Rowdy was fun. Walked one off today with super Trea and loved it. Give me more XP to use those guys, something to keep cards fresh. If they’re broken, who cares? It’s for a few days. Same can be said for Ranked/Events/BR. Why is all progress confined to each one as a silo? Completing each is worth something, give me a reason to play the other when I’m done, a reward in mini seasons or something else. The program is just a grind circle jerk, give me some reason to play more than 9 or 10 ranked games or 2 BR runs.
I like the future stars series. Babe Ruth would strike out 300 times playing against Edward Cabrera for a full year. Old time pitchers have their velocity, power and running speed cranked way the fuck up. They’re just cards.

See I'm the other way. I feel like there's no way to play BR, events, and still get in the ranked innings. It's just too much. The ranked rewards do need to be much better though. Roy is like 14k, much easier to just buy him.
It’s a chance to introduce new cards and players in the game to keep things fresh, all sports games do it. I think it’s boring af using different versions of the same player over and over. After they release this program there most likely will be a new program with current players that are even better.
