Reggie Jackson you get for reaching silver 1. It's free. Mantle unfortunately is the collection reward for collecting every live series player. Trout is that expensive because hes by far the best player and needed to get the collection reward(mantle). Pretty should you could get every yankee and it would cost you $125-150 rl money. Collecting every yankee gets you a 91 Giambi or something as well
Just made 24 stubs on yadier Is the real stock market this easy? Might have to go daytrade full time now
Is there a lost somewhere of all available players and their ratings? I want like all 95+ even if itd not all Yankees.
Trout is the only 95 atm , its still early so if you wanted to play now is the time. The 2nd inning starts Friday. Here is the market and available players atmhttps://theshownation.com/mlb20/community_market
So each inning new players get released? So I buy a full squad now and eventually replace most of them as new players become available?
There will be 3 new bosses that you can get , they randomly release players things get better as the year goes on
Playing the game a good bit, I bought the deluxe edition which gave packs, pulled trout and sold him to build my team
Bosses? Is that was Trout is? Sorry I know nothing about this mode. And all of these players can be bought, right? I just dont have the time to do it all.
No hes a live series player. The 3 new bosses on Friday arent out yet. The last 3 bosses were a 91 Helton 91 Oswalt 91 Duke snyder
You'll still be able to get some of the rewards with missions/moments/conquest etc for the 1st inning but the 2nd inning program comes out Friday afternoon. You get general progress towards rewards for just playing the game in any mode so it's always easier to earn them during that actual program (which usually lasts around a month). 1st inning bosses (Helton, Snider, Oswalt) will be for sale on the market but the price usually goes up after their program ends.
You cant, the game gives you cards for just playing. But a similar looking team would cost around $150. If you can avoid opening packs and just play you'll be fine. Also if since you've played the game you should have some cards already. You get cards/packs for playing any mode. I can get on and stream and point out stuff if you want.
what do you mean by 'avoid opening packs'? is the best way to build a team by accumulating stubs and buying the players you want or buying packs?
Did 45 minutes in the cage vs Chapman and I think I'm getting better. Still can't lay off the low pitches at all
Started a RTTS with a RF, dynamic hitting, my overall rating went down to a 48 lol. Since then I’ve switched to veteran hitting, got my player up to a 68, and called up to AAA. Now the AAA pitching is tearing me up...
I have some cards but it's all like 72 overall scrubs and random batting glove stuff that I don't even know what to do with. I just want to go to the market and buy a squad and start playing. I don't have hours to spend on it to build a team. I just want to buy a team so the hours I do have can be playing games vs people rather than doing challenges vs the cpu. Maybe you and I can get in a party one night and you can walk me through it?
I guess I'm lost on how it's all 92 overalls now but VictorJ24 had a squad of 98's last year. Do the 92's get better? If I buy 92's now, will I just get rid of them as 98's are released later? I want o basically build a legends team. Ruth, Pedro, Schmidt, Dimaggio, Cobb, etc. Like a combo of the 3 legends teams they have in Play Now.
As the year progresses different cards come out that are better , the live series cards are really the only cards that go up and down but with no baseball they dont. Like for example say 84 gold kris Bryant is putting up insane #'s in real life he'd get bumped up to diamond and his ratings would go up.
I gotcha. Well damn. I want to build a team but spending a ton on a team now knowing that better players will come out I feel like I should wait. But then half the year is over before I ever play it. Bu tif it's only a couple hundred right now to have a good squad, whatever. And then just add to it as the year goes on.
Give me the Astros. Mariners are comically bad in this game ( like IRL). Also, you could get a decent team and spend no money by just playing for two weeks.
