Last game on 20 was fun. Down 1 with 2 outs in the 9th and hit back to back HR and then Mo closed it out.
Think hank is definitely a lock for me. Hard to turn down another bat. But getting an ace to Start as well.
I’m thinking I’ll just end up getting the game on release date. I usually don’t play DD for a week or so anyways since I grind the moments and stuff + try to stack up stubs, so not sure it’s a big deal.
Probably gonna knock out some inning requirements and conquest tonight. Stadium and uniform creations tomorrow. Long shot of hope for some Madden type Franchise improvements throughout the year or it’s another sole season of DD and sadness
I'm excite for the new pitching controls. I'll suck at it, but am excite. Also excited to download stadiums made by people much more creative than myself.
They’re doing the final live stream reveals now and ranked season awards you can get through levels like in the past or through cumulative wins (it’s a ton for World Series but still seems like progress knowing I at least feel like I have a chance now). So if I’ll never make World Series, I can win 40 games. Lots of pretty big names in the first round of inning rewards and ranked seasons Piazza Valenzuela (sp?) - new legend Lofton Fielder - new legend Sandberg Nolan Ryan All low 90s but that’s the best available for now
MLB and minor uniform options now so you don’t have to make custom unis Live series collections rewards AL - 99 David Ortiz NL - 99 Soriano MLB - 99 Chipper
That 40/40 Soriano is about what I expected, in a good way. Should be a nice card. I've never done the live series collection stuff, but maybe I will try this year. I'm honestly not sure what the best strategy is to do that though. Usually I sell off all the extra cards because I'll take all the stubs I can get.
Last year was the first time I’ve completed the live series and that was around June with 3+ months of quarantine so I’m not holding my breath on getting it done any time soon. Someone out there will have it done this weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how the market is with 4 different consoles and (hopefully) a lot more people playing the game this year and if we’ll still end up with the more rare cards being nearly a million stubs.
Yeah it’s never seemed realistic to me because usually I grind out the Innings Programs and maybe some other stuff but I like playing DD online so I end up just wanting to put a team together ASAP, then start playing and earning stubs as I go.
140 wins is a lot for one season but at least it's out there if you really want to do it but aren't elite to do it the old way.
Kinda glad Chipper is the live series guy though bc now I don't feel the need to do the whole collection.
Trying to decide if I want to stay up late to play or just crash early and get up early. Staying up until 3am blows when my 3yr old wants to be up at 8.
Yeah it’s 40 wins per season to get the reward and then same with BR rewards. I think you have to win 50 BR games to get the reward there. With BR being 3 innings, it’s basically like an event reward.
Wow 40 W's is way more obtainable for me than 900 points. 900 was never happening. Waaaaaaaay more people will have those cards now.
The new prestige system seems interesting. every card is upgradable, but yet if you sell or buy a card the upgrades don’t transfer over to the new owner.. Vice versa, if you sell a card and then get it back, you keep the upgrades and stats
If we’re being honest, love lefties so I’d take seager or one of degrom or Cole. That saves some seriously stubbage.
So the BR thing is points based. You get points for different things and 50 points gets you the flawless pack. This video goes over all the DD stuff.
I want someone I can hit well with. Don’t get me wrong though, Trout would be amazing to grab early, for either stubs or live series completion.
Yea just saying pulling Trout would be bigger W. Hell sell him and buy like the whole Braves team if you want lol
Trying to decide who I’ll go with for the first inning. Might depend on who I hit better with in showdowns between Lofton and Piazza. Piazza’s hitting is good and fielding isn’t terrible, but sometimes I feel like I choose the fast/better contact guys since I don’t hit 7 HRs a game anyways.
