so as far as the monkey goes that was just a happy accident when we di the Rye Curious and I chose to use curious George in a curious pose. Everyone wanted him to be the mascot after that. That pick and the two after were through a local store, and I did it because everyone said it would be cool for TMB to have their own bourbon picks so I tried to make it happen.

RiRo is another happy accident. I am in NEBC due to rv12 and the guys in the tasting group said wouldn't it be cool if we did a RiRo pick or an RC pick (fuck them) so I reached out and they could not have been more accommodating. We made the mistake at looking at the prices and saying no way this group would entertain it, so we passed. I had no idea how hot RiRo would become. I did however pass on the information and intro to NEBC and encouraged them to do a pick. Of course they fucked me over and didn't invite me to do the pick with them. In any case fast forward, and RiRo got hotter and we decided to revisit and got super lucky that it was when they were dropping the greatest run of 95/5 runs ever. We got one of the first picks from that opportunity and chose to do 2, and they allowed us saying that I was a repeat customer. They didn't realize that I didn't authorize anything for NEBC, and was just the intro. Then they started seeing my collection and activity in the RiRO FB page and on socials and they realized that I could be an influencer (I guess), so they always come to me now with picks even though I have absolutely zero motivation to monetize this. I just want to select the best barrels so my friends can have them. I also really enjoy doing the artwork. I need some creative outlet in my life beyond work. I actually lose money and take risk on these.

Attention for this release has been picking up due to lots of positive comments from members of our discord "Friends of TMB." I am saying all this because it seems to be picking up steam so if you have any desire to grab more do it now. I do not expect it to hang around that much longer and when it is gone it is gone.

Lastly, it looks like a June 21st release date for our De-Rye-ing Gravity and Spider-Monkey releases. I should have final bottle picks any day. You will not want to miss either of these and they will sell out first day once we let our "Friends of" group buy.

Yes it is an amazing pour if you are a seasoned hi-proof whiskey drinker. It's consistently rated in the top 3 of this category of 95/5 MGP ryes. That said if the proof is too much for you don't feel bad adding some water or ice. It's just a gigantic pour.
