Crocs. Oof. That's unfortunate. My daughter is 10 and crazy into sneakers now. We get some that match, some that don't, but she's hit that "adult size pricing" that sucks when you're ordering every other day.
Yea she's only 2.5 so Crocs are easy to just slip on and off and she's been around the house all the time so that's all she's been wearing.
Yeah, we had that a few years ago with some pink Adidas RapidRuns. I had bought her a few pairs of J's, and all she'd wear were those glorified socks. Drove me nuts.

Crocs are making a comeback for some reason. My 7th grader loves those damn things. She even got my wife to agree to get matching pairs.

Not a bad option. Crocs just last longer. I've had one green pair for over 15 years. Only pair I own but I put them on at least once per day.
This is them. Bear tore the orange strap off of them a very long time ago but the shoes are still going strong. I'd buy a new pair of they retro'd them.

Slides don’t work well for me. I’ve found that I need the toe post or something with straps. I like the toe freedom of chacos, but they’re overall not as comfortable. Eyeing xero sandals to try for hiking camp/water shoes.
this is what I do. I got two pairs of max aura for this situation. Paid about 30 each when they went on sale.
Putting on non-slide ons to walk out for 30 seconds to check the BGE would blow. Slides, flip-flops, and Crocs are the only options for me.
Ive got a pair of Olukai flip flops, Sanuks, and Birkenstock boston's. 95% of the time I still put on beaters.

We are so different. I hate feet. Only time I am not wearing socks is when I shower. In my house Ugg ascots that never leave the house. Outdoors is a pair of cheap shoes.
haha yea I'm no socks 100% of the time at the house. No shirt 90% of the time. Normally just in a pair of basketball shorts. Obviously that changes if we have people over, just talking about when it's me, wife, and the baby.
I have 12 year old and 16 year old daughters. I think it would be awkward for them for me to walk around in just shorts. I’ve also a pretty modest person.
no joke my kids go out of their way to touch my feet or show me theirs because they know feet gross me out.
I can't imagine walking around the house with anything on my feet. All that shit comes off immediately when I get home.
I dont really have a preference but most of the time in the house I have socks on just because sometimes I like to slide around like a 12 year old instead of taking steps.
it was weird switching to slides after spending 15yrs in rainbows but the ultra boost ones are pretty damn comfy I also only use them for walking dogs and checking the mail so I don't have to worry about too much for too long
