It being an AF1 is a positive. Maybe not for you, but a lot of people like the model. Nothing about using one of their top models was "half assed" or "mailing it in." I get that you don't like the AF1. It seems like you think everyone hates the AF1. That's not the case. It's a hugely popular model. Them using that model shows how much they care about the Be True campaign. They always do a classic (AF1, AM90, TN, Cortez), the new shoe they are pushing (2090, 720, 270, Vapormax, AM0) and then something random. The sandal is the worst one I've seen though.

The models, colors, designs, etc everything together is what makes it seem like its half assed. The sandal is awful. Period nothing else needs to be said about it. The 2090 doesnt look like it even goes with the Be True campaign. Take those words off the side and it looks like a GR. Lastly is a white on white AF1 with the rainbow colors on the heel tab. Theres no creativity and nothing that stands out. Thats why it seems half assed. This is easily the worst Be True collection yet and it has nothing to do solely with the AF1.
Read the bolded. Using the #2 most popular model on the planet is not a reason to say it was half assed. You don't like the AF1. You don't like the campaign this year. Cool. Don't let your bias get in the way though. "They even fucked up a classic AF1" could be accurate. "They used a fucking AF1" is just your bias showing. You and a few others itt have a hard on for the AF1 and it clouds your judgement just like my dislike of the Yeezy clouds mine when it comes to those. I don't trash it like it's an awful shoe though. A ton of people love it, it's just not for me.
Got a pair of triple black ER2s for $88 shipped, so I planned to just wear them to work and beat up since I got them so cheap. Got them in hand today, and that will not be happening. These are dope. Gonna have to find another cheap pair for work.
