Some people get early member access to shoes. But it sounds like even with early access, they may be tough to get for those that do have access.
Occasionally Nike will grant some users early access on, normally on a Thursday, to buy a Saturday release. Sometimes they do it for releases they made a billion of just to sucker people into buying them and you have early access from like 10am until 8pm. Other times, like this, its for a shoe a lot of people want so you need to be available when access opens to have a chance.

I forget which one it is; 700 maybe, but there is a nice colorway coming. Its blue and looks really good. The shoe is ass though and kills it. Its whichever model has the plastic looking cage around it.
Funny story...So the guy that takes the dirty linen and replaces it came into our clinic today and was wearing these. Spotted them and said I liked his shoes and all that. Him: “yeah, these are my favorite.” (I assumed he knew what he was talking about and knew what kind of shoes he was wearing.) Me: “I wish they would release the originals in the neon and gray...those are classics.” He kind of blankly stares at me. Me: “Did you see those Jordan 4’s that came out with the neon and gray a few months ago?” He didn’t answer at all and just said yeah, I have a shoe problem, my friends call me foot locker. Realizing he had no idea what I was talking about I just said “Have a good day, Foot locker.” Super awkward when guys say they are shoe guys and have no idea about what shoes they are wearing. Gave me a laugh all day.
One of my biggest faults is assuming a dude working in Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs, etc actually gives a shit about shoes. Most Ive come across do not.
