No way that's real.
Gross, looks like bootleg react 87s
Made me think of the Nike Shoe that was suppose to beat the 2 Hour Marathon
If you wear those, I'm going to judge you.
What the fuckin shit are those?
Those are more hideous than normal
it's not nearly as bad on foot. but still between this and those weird claw basketball shoes, this has to be near the end of their run
dblplay1212 as to not derail the other thread he is getting you two pairs, right? One for me in case I can’t puck them up somewhere else? Right?
He won't know if he can do 2 until he gets them in store and sees what sizes he has. He has to keep 1 of every size for release date. He can only hold pairs he has multiples of.
Jesus that's huge. Sorry.
Not many? As in 2. Come on man you know I’ve been fiending for those for a good six months.
Welcome to the sneaker game
haha man I'm not going to bust his balls about his stock. He'll do what he can do. He always does.
I am just saying hopefully after a decade of being BFFs dbl can let me get them if he only gets one pair.
I'd rather have the cheeseburger.
Finally a decent price for these. $120 with code 10SHOUTS
Might be the first UB19 I've liked.
I had no idea these were a real shoe that was gonna release until my sister asked me about them this morning. I had seen a couple of pics of them before but I just thought they were customs someone did out of a white pair.
You guys like those? For real?
I do, and will probably order, if I don’t forget about them.
Got into the Nike Adventure club.
4 pair per year = $20 per month
6 pair per year = $30 per month
12 pair per year = $50 per month
So the 4 and 6 are $60 per pair, which is basically retail for most toddler pairs. 12 is $50 per pair, so a little discount. Each pair comes in a custom box design with your kid's name on the actual box, so that's cool. You get an "adventure" with each one, whatever that is. Going to go with the 12 pair one and see how it goes. They have a pair of am90's on there that's not on the regular site and wife has been wanting them.
Take my money, Nike.
I have a 3.5 month old and will start buying her shoes when she can walk. Feels like with Nike sales/FNL points I was thinking I could find certain styles for under 50 bucks, which is giving me pause. I do like the 6 pair per year, 30 per month option..DBL, I would assume you can change sizes at any time?
You can catch just about all of the toddler pairs in sale for $30-40 in most cases. I'm only doing it for the Nike box with her name on it and to see what the "gear" is in the adventure kits. High odds I'll cancel after a month.
Let's be honest, I'd pay $50 for a personalized AM1 box for myself.
I joined the waitlist. I have a few other dumb subscription services that I should cancel that will come close to 30 bucks. I will probably try it for awhile as well.
#sneakers anyone want to help me try and get the UNCs on the 30th? Please
Those are the ones that have a carbon fiber blade in them to make you run like Oscar Pistorious, right?
Feel like there should be some way to increase the rewards in that by using the Nike run and workout apps.
it's a nice concept, but i think the pricing is asinine for toddler/kids shoes
For a 2 year old?
It's regular retail or a little less and it sounds like you get some extras with every order. Guess we'll see.
Yeah I signed up and looked at the options, and it seemed like the AM 90s were really the only "cool" or unique shoe on there. If there were Jordans etc, it would be better. I could be wrong but I don't think a lot of the shoes offered retail for $60/pair. I'll stick to the occasional clearance Jordan retros for my littles.
Clean. The Gum Sole makes me interested.
Yea wife and I noticed that too. You'd be paying more in the club for the shoes than you would off the regular site. I'll all depend on the extras.
Hey gotta hook them early.
if you had to wear one sneaker for the rest of your life, what are you choosing?
1. Can wear any color/version of that sneaker that you can buy, but you don't get unlimited access.
2. Can change into a different sneaker for sport (i.e. don't have to pick a basketball/running shoe)
So you want something that is comfortable, affordable, versatile, and has staying power (so they keep coming out with new pairs).
Doesn't DBl already do this
I'd probably go ultra boosts with epic reacts a close second
Ultraboost will probably be a popular choice, but I would worry they aren't as versatile as some of the lower profile sneakers
Epic Reacts would be a no for me because I can see Nike dropping the line in 2 years, or merging it with something else
If I'm wearing one sneaker the rest of my life I'm going comfort over everything. UB are still the most comfortable to me, and I can find a color way to wear with just about anything so it's a no brainer imo.
I guess I should take 50 year old tne's knees into consideration
