I know I'm late here but, Lol I'm shocked. It makes some sense with verification on pairs especially in the secondary market but I'd guess its mostly to drive their new "digital collectables". It will be interesting to see how this changes the secondary market considering they'll have that royalty built in. I'd assume they can do everything that stockx or goat can for much cheaper. I think this makes more sense with musical artists selling concert tickets. They can sell them direct to consumer and if its resold they get a cut or a royalty. Artists could build in things to limit the amount of times a ticket is resold or cap how much you make off of reselling.
There are a sneaky number of ill H colorways. Too bad they feel so cheap in hand (hence the pricetag)
I have. I will sell used pairs all day just would never buy a used pair. Local shop does a lot of their business with used pairs

All depends on the condition. Got 210 for a pair of 700 inertia that would pass as dead stock if not for the outsole. Not much at all on other stuff. Check places like GOAT for used prices. You’ll have to go at least 50 below that for what you can hope to get. I just knew I wasn’t wearing them so I wasn’t that worried about the price

Also bought my fiancée some rose whisper dunks from stockx and I’m 90% sure they are fake. Have a made in China sticker in them and she has a lot of dunks and these are much stiffer
