Damn that sucks. Did you do leather or nubuck? Highly suggest nubuck, at least on the mudguard. The leather is thick at the toe and doesn't give a great shape.
Nubuck I believe. The mudguard is the croc suede I think it is. I’m just going to reorder in the right size, just annoying when you think your pair is coming in a couple days then…nope!
Hoodie and backpack gives me hope they made kids. May finally get G to wear something other than her Be True Dunks.
Yeah not as bad as i would have thought for the stroller. Still absurd to me but i would have thought theirs would have been more. A couple years ago my sister bought one for like $900 and i still like to remind her how ridiculous it was.
As a general rule, anything baby or wedding related the price is 3x what it should be. I want to say our stroller was around that and that was 7 years ago, then tack on more for car seat. It's a fuckin racket.
And idk man, $1k for something you're going to use damn near daily for 2-3 years isn't that bad tbh. We bought Uppababy and thought we way overspent at $900 or whatever but looking back we definitely got our money's worth out of it. We beat the hell out of it and it's still in good enough shape we can pass it on to someone else.
I think thats the exact logic those companies depend on. Trapping new parents and making them feel good about themselves because theyre buying the “safest” and the “best” for their baby. The truth is the $150 Graco at Walmart is going to do the job just as good.
I mean it was a long time ago but we used a $30 umbrella stroller more than the expensive strollers we had looking back at it
That was my argument. Thats what worked best when we were kids. Way easier to load, unload, haul around, and maneuver in public.
Ehh idk about that. Are they worth the extra money? Idk that's probably different on a person by person basis. I don't think anyone is trapped into buying the higher end one. We splurged in some areas and went cheap in others. That's one we splurged bc we'd be using it daily for years. No regrets. Now the 4Mom's rocker thing? Don't get me started on the bullshit. I fell for that trap lol.
that looks like an infant stroller which you’ll use for 6 months at the most that’s honestly incredibly overpriced.
Only stroller we splurged on was a BOB running jogger and I think we only spent like 4-5 on it but that thing lasted out last 4 kids. It was durable as hell. Usually we’d go to target or there was a warehouse type place that sold “expensive” strollers that were a previous model .
Na that's a full on stroller that you can use until your kid just doesn't use a stroller. The picture above is just with the basinet in it. This is it without the basinet in it.
Uppababy had a telescopic handle and was the only brand with one at the time we got ours. Umbrella strollers are back killers for anyone over 5’8”. I’m only 6’ but most strollers sucked to push in the store.
well I stand corrected and yeah that’s not that bad especially for someone who has the means to spend that on a stroller.
wait till you’re an old man and take your beautiful granddaughter on a walk I feel like my shoulder is going to give reaching down to hold her hands.
Did you do the search? It takes you to a page for a sports bra and then there is a link that gives you access to some dunks, Huarches, and AM1s. Those tweed dunks were available when I checked.
These ones. The green text in whatever page it takes you to tells you to scroll down and hit the link below More Information.
Yea I missed the green text but eventually found it. Solid shoe but I'll be shocked if they don't hit discount like all the others.
