I think they just made it worse. Cancelled every order and said if you had an order confirmation then that order is still in their system and they will send you a new invoice in 2-3 days to repurchase. The new email had a different tale from the two theyve already told. I bet theres going to be people who never had an order get invoices, people who get multiple invoices, and people who had order confirmations never get an invoice. I know i wont be holding my breath for mine.

Pretty easy for Union to come out and say they didnt backdoor them to him but they refuse. Coupled with everything that happened with their drop and what is happening since plus he has a bunch of pairs of the Union exclusive colorway, im not so sure somebody didnt get a little greedy and backdoor too much.

Yeah i didnt really buy that either. I think he knew he could allude to it being Nike and Nike wasnt going to say anything one way or the other. Im not saying its impossible he gets the hookup directly from Nike, I just think its highly unlikely.

The thing that makes Trophy Room so bad is Marcus is literally the last retailer that needs the money. With other shops, I honestly get it. It's not as profitable as you'd think so it's hard selling a shoe for $200 it's worth $1k. I get why a store would backdoor some of the stock at $600 or whatever. Sure it sucks as a consumer but I get it. But Marcus? Dude is literally the son of a billionaire. He could have gone way above any other retailer to get pairs to real people and been the retailer king and loved by all. Then head off to be head of Jordan Brand one day. But na, instead he did this and will always be hated by the community. Just a big fuck you to the community that's made his family insanely rich.

I think some of his is greed obviously but i think a lot of it is the clout and attention. Dude isnt shit and has everything given to him. He can say he works for it all he wants but its all been set up for him. Back dooring pairs though he gets the clout from the people he’s doing business with and he gets to feel accomplished like he’s making his own money hustling. Guy couldnt make a single fucking dollar trying to sell anything if everything wasnt already set up for him. He’s the dude that would be stealing shit out of his dads closet to sell to collectors and think he’s a legitimate business man.
