i'm always amazed by how dangerous sounding they make the supplement names and packaging. here is our Death Carnage Blood Xplosion multivitamin.
Here’s what I wrote in my post about it... Who you picking between the Intek ModF and the new Eleiko Open DL bar? Both seem like great options, but they have their differences. - I love the Eleiko kick stand idea. Very clever. A similar concept could potentially be applied to the Intek using the existing modular pin holes. - I love that Intek has dual handles. This is a big advantage, in my opinion. - I love that Eleiko offers chrome sleeves and handles. In my review of the Intek I stated that I loved that about their original version. - I love that the ModF bar allows for open or closed design. Although the Eleiko bar states an 1,100 lb capacity, which is an advantage over the Intek... at least in the open position. I’ll never touch either’s max capacity though . - The Eleiko has a smaller footprint, which is nice if space is tight. - Both bars are rackable, which is fantastic. I prefer the Intek design though since the handles are longer and I like the angled design for additional versatility on any movement. It also allows for more hand positions, which could be more comfortable if using the bar to perform cambered squats, for instance. - Not sure what the price of the Eleiko is yet, but I imagine it will come in more costly than the Intek, especially when considering shipping. - Either way, both seem to be great bars, but I can only personally attest to the Intek, which I know to be great.
Kabuki announced their new trap bar on the heels of the Eleiko announcement. Looks to be better than the Eleiko, in my opinion due to the handles. My guess is $800 plus shipping.
Doubt it's too coincidental that Nuckols just put out an article entitled "Trap Bar Deadlifts are Underrated".
Squat - 534-540 Bench - 308-314 Deadlift - 556-562 Really have no idea how tomorrow is going to turn out, but I’m going to try to keep everything at an RPE 9-9.5 so we can build towards the 5 Bar and I can put up a more competitive total there
Plan today was cleans then drinking and baseball. Got absolutely hammered and woke up with a chick in my bed. 2 bjs and multiple naps inn between. I started drinking at 3. Great day
I think that article is from a couple years ago, but he may have promoted it after these announcements.
I'm about 50/50 between hex/trap and regular deadlifts, don't really get why it's called a trap bar. Have never had trap soreness from it, it's always glutes for me. Had some of the worst soreness of my life this week from my last session.
Don't think I've benched in almost a month. Have done incline BB and DB a few times a week, regular has just been kind of an afterthought recently. Did some 1 arm presses today. Main goals right now are deadlift and OHP and just getting more explosion, seem to be doing well so far this year.
shrugs work the traps, hence trap bar, that is what i always assumed. i have never really used it to deadlift.
i just did and will not rule it out. we did frame deads this week for similar reasons(although the ROM feels really short on those) and i struggle with overpulling.
Haha every day from Oct 1- Dec 31 I put a similar phrase on my IG story so I appreciate this more than you know. 9/9 smoke some PRs
Squat - 529 17lb PR Bench - 314 28lb PR Deadlift - 562 39lb PR 1,405 total, 374 Wilks, 533 IPF points, 5in dick, 10pt hair
485 squat - 35 pound meet PR (had hit 465 in garage during training) 352 bench - 17pound PR 518 deadlift - 17 pound PR Added 30 kilos to my last meet total with 540 IPF points (whatever the fuck that means) I think I had a little more in the tank on squat and bench. Still feeling out how much I can stretch based on how my 2nd attempts feel. I’m confident I’ll hit 500 squat at the meet in September. With the way 485 felt, I MIGHT have been able to hit it today, but...I actually hit the rack and lifted it on my way up on my last squat so I’m glad I stayed at 485. I thought for sure that was going to be an automatic red light... Feeling pretty damn good, gents.
He was in the 231 class (I think). I was in the one above it. My meet in august I’ll be back in the 231 class and we’ll see who the true TMB champ is!
How many classes are there, know Olympics has a huge jump from the Klokovs to anything. Think it's kinda dumb but whatever, college wrestling weights piss me off immensely but no reason to get into that here.
Not that bad Men 116.75lbs/53.00kgs (Teen/Juniors only) 130.00lbs/59.00kgs 145.50lbs/66.00kgs 163.00lbs/74.00kgs 182.75lbs/83.00kgs 205.00lbs/93.00kgs 231.25lbs/105.00kgs 264.50lbs/120.00kgs 264.50+lbs/120.00+kgs
I do think Oly has better class break downs Men (Senior/Junior) 55kg 61kg* 67kg* 73kg* 81kg* 89kg 96kg* 102kg 109kg* +109kg*
Annoys me how me lower weights there are in lifting and wrestling. Hey, this 5'5 dude can choose between 4 weights within 30 pounds You're over 6' and crazy strong, likely have 1 class that fits you.
