My designer did an unsolicited logo refresh and he has me thinking of changing. What do y’all think? I’ve had the original since before GGL was even launched.

Haack and Dan Bell missed their 2nd at 400 and 410 going right after Nick Best tore his pec. Really unfortunate, had to throw them off. Dan Bell then dropped his 3rd at the top and seemingly yells at the judge. Chad Penson goes 997.5 and wins that was wild
That’s the only powerlifting meet I’ll probably ever watch(watched mostly top guys yesterday and some today). I’m not a hater and their choice but always find it rough seeing what PEDs do to women.
Wrapping up a squat/DL/bench program at our gym so we’re testing out maxes this week Just hit 395 back squat. Wanted to go for 400+ but left it for today because I wasn’t doing a good job keeping my chest up. Up 100 lbs from when I originally tested in 5 months since I got back into lifting. 1200 total is definitely going down this year
I’m going to push back on this post just a bit. why do we not discuss what PEDs do to men’s aesthetic features? Dan Bell is amazing and one of the greatest to ever do it, but he’s a severely overweight person. His looks never get mentioned. A lot of GH use can make men’s facial features grow with all that extra mass they accrue, but it never gets mentioned when a guy breaks a world record. Women’s looks don’t define what they’re in the sport for or their worth so why do they need to get brought up? Theyre there to lift the most weight possible and set records without some arbitrary standard of femininity. I’d say they did exactly that this weekend.
I promise that wasn’t to shit on you. I think it’s just easy for us to fall into past thoughts like this without thinking more about them. We’re all guilty. No harm done.

i often wrestle with attractiveness and my interest in female lifters and bodybuilders. i can appreciate any strong lifter, but i can't lie and say i'm not more interested in following those i find attractive.

Gym now has a Ghost combo rack and a Rogue combo rack. Haven’t even finished warming up yet and I like the Rogue better
Main reason for me is the fabric on the rogue pad is far sticker than the Ghost rack. Second, I really don’t like those J cups from Ghost. The Rogue has roller cups, but they’re flat so it’s easier to put the bar back in there

Failed 540 conventional then failed 500(hit it once after 540 then failed 2nd), then failed on my 2nd set of 445x3 paused. So much shame. Have lost a hole on the belt but eating on a deficit on DL/squat days doesn’t seem to work well. Live and learn.
Conventional responds wildly to fatigue. You could be weak af this week then smoke a 15% jump next week

Could be multiple things. My shoulder has been jacked up for a LONG time. It's probably been 10-15 years since I've been able to throw a football with any meaningful velocity. But that used to be very movement dependent. Now I wake up and the fucker is killing me (fuck you 40's...). If I try to pinpoint my worst pain, it appears to be where the bicep attaches. Considering I also get a good amount of pain in the same bicep and elbow, I think it may be more related to the bi and the shoulder is where I'm feeling it. Or vice versa. Who the hell knows. It's not excruciating when I bench. That plane seems ok. But any time I have to raise my shoulder above parallel is an issue.

Supposedly it’s the biggest clean ever recorded(looks like he could clean a lot more) and tied with best jerk I saw it this morning before I read the description and thought it was gonna just be some clean pulls and mind blown
