That's def better. The design looks really good and clean, but from the side kinda hard to find the "Gym" keyword to figure out what it's for
They are just small and don't stand out Imagine you're driving by it and you can only see it for 2 seconds versus staring at the entire thing to figure it out. Also if possible, camel case the first letter of each word in the website name. It makes the word stand out better versus them being all caps
Anyone ever heard of RitFit? Equipment seems like it should be sturdy. I'd really like a leg extension/curl machine https://www.ritfitsports.com/produc...YrXFswUa1Mv8YUnYfX3195gVksN2b9DxoC6coQAvD_BwE
I didn't. Seems like some random YouTubers give it a above value for a "budget" machine. Admit it isn't some high-end equipment
It looks p good and as long as it’s functional I wouldn’t worry too much personally. I have a Rogue Monster Lite rack and I wish I could find more attachments not at the rogue price for it. My home gym isn’t big enough for accessory machines yet but the wife just sent me a home with an airplane hangar that I could turn into a home gym / office that is fully climate controlled and that changes the game.
Illinois but maybe. She’s been golden handcuffed so we had to change moving south to finding something with more land and space
Local high school is selling this plus two bars and a bench for $400. Just emailed the guy. Anything glaringly wrong with Legend racks?
Quote me for a super basic gym, please sir: bench + squat rack four 45s and then the other weights one bar one curl bar Dumbbells up to 75 Probably a cable/pully system I'm doing a pole barn for storage, want to devote one corner to a small home gym.
RepFitness doesn't make the rack I have from them anymore and thus none of the attachments they make will fit it. That's super annoying.
Today is the first day that my son did more pull-ups with the 40lb. weight vest than I did. He's 22, I'm 56
He did two sets of six, I only did one because of some right forearm pain I did more x8 sets (4) with the 20 lb. vest tho I also outweigh him by 55 lbs.
Both my sons are about 135lbs and last week was the first time either of them tried the 40lb vest. Both did an easy x6 so I had to show them I could still do x6 at 60lbs. Youngest tried with 60 and couldn't get halfway. It's just pretty cool because I remember when my 22yo couldn't do a pull-up for the longest time and he was really frustrated by it, and now he can do them in his sleep HashtagNinjaWarrior I still smoke them on weighted dips tho
Got a case of elbow bursitis. Elbow looks like it has a lacrosse ball sitting under the skin. Doesn't hurt at all. Tried to ice it. Seems like not much you can do. Might have to do another round of BPC157. Did wonders healing my bicep. Did 225 on Incline Bench today. Pretty sure that is a PR. IDK if it is the TRT but this is the first time I've felt like I've been able to progress on bench in a long long long time.
Anyone ever done any of Jeff Nippard's programs? Seems super detailed and specific, but might try one. Either a 5 or 6 day PPL. Found the PDFs/Excels on reddit
i would not have used "bald fella" to differentiate anyone in that industry, but it seems you all understood each other.
They both really know their shit, but coming up with a program isn’t rocket science. It’s mostly just consistently lifting hard and varying it up a bit from time to time. Stay in the 5 or lower rep range for strength/power focus, and above that for hypertrophy focus. I know that’s oversimplifying it, but it’s mostly true. I’d put your money into maximizing your nutrition. Most people are under-nourished from a protein perspective, for how often they lift. Really audit your food intake for a bit, and then adjust your meals/shakes to try and maximize that for better growth. Oh yeah, and prioritize sleep (probably the hardest part to control).
Love how he doesn’t try to bullshit anyone. He’s very honest and keeps his info easy to digest and mostly entertaining.
I’ve felt my form has been pretty bad and was just doing machines aside from the bench press so I started the StrongLifts 5x5 last week. Weird starting so low but I really want to focus on doing things right to prevent future injuries. Also switched to going enduring my lunch break.
Well after two years of working out in my basement with 5-90lb dumbbells and a bench I’ve bought a rack, bar and plates.
Adding a cable tower to my home gym is going to be amazing. Lateral raises haven't lit my shoulders up like that in a long time. Pretty sure these are near identical, the GMWD has more metal components vs plastic. Put together the GMWD last night and it's pretty solid https://titan.fitness/products/short-wall-mounted-pulley-tower-v3?variant=47966300045589 https://gmwdfitness.com/products/wall-mount-cable-station-cc03?_pos=1&_psq=cabl&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Need some help finding equipment or ideas. hensleya maybe you can help. So due to space I got a single cable tower. Loving it so far, but struggling with how well I was going to do lat pull downs and counter act my body weight. Is there a thigh attachment that can just go into the cable tower? Seems like the holes are pretty standard size. Thought about maybe a belt strapping down to a bench/weight stack.....but then would kind limit some ROM b/c I'd have to belt myself in first. Thoughts?
