That's possible natural. Not sustainable year round for brain function and muscle breakdown but stage possible.
I'd need to see bloodwork proof that this vascularity is natural and not the result of some extra test or growth hormone
18 years of training, stage weight of 155lbs, that's not crazy to think he's natural. If he showed up at 255 then yea
Without tying to white knight for him, I believe he is natural. He competes in natural shows that do blood work and polygraphs. Add that to the fact that GH and test don't dry you out like that. If he was on gear you would expect him to be way heavier than 155-160. In his more recent photos I think he was saying he was around 8%. Dude has weird veins even when he isn't contest prepping.
Genetics play a huge role in vascularity along with dehydration. If he's stage weight of 155 AND on drugs he needs a refund.
Non vascular guy here. I'm going to keep saying he's juicing to make myself feel better about no veins.
I'm most worried about a possible bleed-out situation with one errant pass of the razor while shaving those forearms.
Over the next month and a half we've got conference football getting in full swing, USAPL Raw Nats which should be hype, then some huge lifts coming out of Reebok Record Breakers.
took two weeks off and got back in the gym last night 5x5with last set being a + set and did 185 for 14 on bench. squat was awful 5x5 135. 12-15 lap swim tonight, gonna try and get an interval run afterward. I'm gonna hit deadlift and dumbell incline tomorrow.
Started week 4 of 5X5 and have come to the realization that squats might be my favorite exercise in the gym now. I'm pretty sure this makes me a sick fuck, but that burn/level of satisfaction is probably second to none.
I got to where I like them. Front squats and overhead squats, not so much. Can tell a difference in my glutes from doing strong lifts 5*5 for the few months I ran it pm for pics wait what
My legs and ass have blown up from 5x5. Strength has gone through the roof (for me) too. Like the program.
Week 4 of firing leg days back up on the 5x5. I'm now addicted again. That hex bar for DL is too nice on the back, I love it.
I used to lift heavier in college but thought a desk job would turn it into fat so i stopped lifting heavy a year after graduation and was on cruise mode the last 10 years. I forgot how much I liked the challenge of a good gain, and this is bringing it right back to me.
I do not have a whole lot of new ideas or information to share. Been trying to just eat healthy and focusing on micronutrients. I've lost a shitload of weight recently. Bout to move to a different city and get a different job. Not a whole lot of interest in lifting currently. Still need to get my knee looked at. Also have a solid roster of hoors to smang on the daily which is more fun than getting buff. HTH. Good luck, we're all counting on you
Bought a new thermogenic and took it before walking into the gym. Get upstairs and find out the town fucked up the water lines doing maintenance so none of the water is drinkable
Hit the supplement shop. Got MuscleEgg Fruit Loops flavor Some meal preps that are 400 calorie per. OHP 185#x4x4 Volume BTN 115#4x3 95# bb curls Other bicepual work
Gym buddy is unmotivated pile of shit today. IDGAF I'm gonna deadlift all the weight after I knock out these squats.
Squatted 255 5x5 Deadlift 275 1x5 315x1 365x1 New PR, most weight I've ever moved. Coming for 4 plates, fired the fuck up.
