OP updated, need 4 more teams. any suggestions on rule changes or additions? I was going to suggest we needed 1 or 2 players from leagues outside the big four (Eredivisie, Ligue 1, Liga Sagres, Brazil, Russia etc) I figure there should be enough quality in there to find 32 players to fill out the squads and make it more diverse.

last year we wrote out lineups and tactics for a 16 team tournament and then the board voted for a winner. someone mentioned doing a FIFA sim this year to determine the winner.
I agree with this, but at the same time I feel like it just becomes voting for posters you like rather than really paying attention to the teams. not that it really matters, the fun part is picking the teams.
I am definitely team fifa. Voting sucks because people are going to pick teams with players from their team, posters they like, and/or posters from their fanbase.
and if you have a great formation and players that fit the formation it wont necessarily be based on Fifa ratings.
Seemed to work well last year. Fun part is definitely drafting the teams, we didn't even determine a winner last year.
You dont think it would be fun to have your team that you drafted go up against another team in a Fifa game and see if it is good enough to win? I think that would be just as fun as the draft
ok we may need to vote on this. I'm team vote, but I don't care either way. I think drafting a good team, and drafting a team good at FIFA are two different things and I'd rather do the former.
I just am not sure people can remove bias in the selecting of teams. A team with Bale will almost automatically get the Jew vote, RVP will get the Arsenal vote, etc. On the other side great players that people dont like will also be looked down upon.
