Arsenal play their best half of football this season and run away from Villa, 3-0. Cesc Fabregas was supposed to be an emergency only substitute, but he came in after 57 minutes and completely ran the game. Created a couple chances instantly, won a free kick and scored from it, right in the corner. Added a 2nd on a perfect counter w/ Walcott, then had to be subbed because he tweeked his hamstring running on the 2nd goal.

4 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand :feelsgoodman:

Jozy is starting today for Hull against United, game is on FSC at 11:00 EST.

Yeah, I was thinking about a power nap before the NFL games got started but saw the lineup and knew there would be no nap.

Good god, how lucky is United??? Hull miss chances, get denied a stonewall penalty and then get that goal after some Hull screw-ups.

Just like the Arsenal game... pure luck.

Yeah, it's a good thing Alan Wiley has none... according to SAF.

That's just luck. It was a clear penalty, even united fans would concede that I hope.

BTW, that's obviously not directed at you watson... I'm aware that you are a Liverpool fan.

I just hate United and the breaks they get.

It's clear that Jozy is more than physically ready for this level... but his game still needs a lot of work. His touch is really rough at times and he gives the ball away too much.

He's got the talent for sure though.

Maurice Edu returned for Rangers as a sub in the 2nd Half, should hopefully start next week against Celtic as he gets 100%

Yep, he'd be better of skill wise playing in France, Holland, or a good team in Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, etc. The Olympiakos loan deal probably would've been better too and he would've seen CL action. Heck, had he stayed with Villareal, their reserve team is in the Segunda. The link play from the MF to him would be much better in those places too.

BTW, City modzi, City can Arsenal's "daddy" all they want. Arsenal will still be in the CL this year, next year, and will still finish 10-20 points better than City, and can still win the title.

So, take your season's best win, and enjoy it. Try not to concede 3 goals to Burnley, Sunderland, or Spurs anymore though :dealwithit: :smug:

Yeah, I mad, not really though, just playin. City and Arsenal have both played 18, so it's just 3 points behind.

I just don't like that City whipped Arsenal earlier in the year, the only team to put a whipping on a full-strength Arsenal this year.

cesc was ridiculous yesterday. came in and :ballin: immediately.

diaby's goal looked like he was dribbling around a bunch of cones out there, but it was a nice finish.
