It doesn’t compared to average and median recruiting rankings. Only reason to use blue chip ratio is if you’re trying to fit a narrative that otherwise doesn’t work.
I clarified a bit in an edit. It’s fine but not the most accurate. Why use a less accurate metric when you have better options is my point.
He’s about to make pretty much the same amount of money being an OC and not having to deal with the bullshit associated with being HC?
especially being the HC at texas which apparently has more non football bullshit to deal with than most other places
Honestly rooting for him and Texas. CFB needs some new teams to become elite so we stop getting the same few in the playoffs. Would love to see programs like Texas or USC get back to winning just for the sake of some more interesting seasons.
this is pretty insignificant when it comes to places like texas and presumably auburn boosters could do this every year if they really wanted to obviously the optics during the pandemic are shit but it happens any time texas fires a coach
Living in Austin >>>>>>> tuscalooosa however I’m not sure that’s true if you’re the head coach at Texas
Getting a team to 8-4 after Tyrone Willingham had decimated the program is a pretty good accomplishment.
I like redemption stories and want to root for a guy like Sark that has preserved over his addiction issue. I hope he turned down Texas and I dont have to root against him.
lmao apparently it wasn’t a done deal and chip fucking brown jumped the gun on it probably still going to happen but lol if it doesn’t i don’t give a fuck as long as tom is gone
He’s barely in the board meetings and they just throw money around carelessly. they dont really meddle.
I can’t imagine sark wants his name dropped as the New head coach in the same tweet/story that broke Herman being fired. Makes him look like shit. That kind of dysfunction is prevalent at Texas. Could be just getting cold feet. Texas doing all of this, finding the New coach behind the old coaches back only for the New coach to back out would be good for us neutrals who love a coaching search though. Especially the richest program that is incredibly prideful.
Our QB room in 2022 will have: RS Soph CJ Stroud (42 overall) RS Soph Jake Miller (334) Soph or RS FR Kyle McCord (25 overall)
It's me mostly wishing it into existence, but I do wonder why he wouldn't settle for being a high paid OC.
