    3. Varys assassinates Kevan (ADWD 73)

    Moments that barely missed our list include: Jorah is sold into slavery (ADWD 48); Arya gets a new face (ADWD 65); and Barristan usurps Hizdahr (ADWD 68). What other events from ADWD deserve mention here? What kind of moments do you prefer, the payoffs or the plot twists?

    I think both of those would rank higher in the top 10 most badass moments of ADWD, but as far as relevancy to the whole series I think they are aptly ranked

    I thought that was huge, not really Kevan dying but realizing for sure what we pretty much knew, that Varys was behind pretty much all of this, and how much influence he really had. Oh and he killed Pycelle too. Also now Cersei is now going to have a ton of power again especially with Robert Strong under her control.

    I guess I thought we just knew Varys was behind the scenes pulling strings. Maybe I forgot I found that out at the end of ADWD

    Do we know who Robert Strong is? Gregor Clegane isn't really dead?

    Also agree that Barristan overthrowing Hizdahr was a pretty big deal. That fight scene with the pit fighter was pretty kick ass, how it talked about the difference in fighting styles and how the pit fighter suddenly just had ultimate fear in his eyes cause he knew he was beaten.

    I figured with the whole vow of silence and never removing his armor or helmet and people saying nobody in the country was that big it had to be him.

    Did he just not die tho Illinihockey or was he "brought back" like dondarrion and catelyn, and that's why he doesn't seem to eat or drink?

    i don't think he was brought back, because Qyburn isn't a red priest. i think he's more of a zombie.
