Ade had 4 assists (and a goal, same box score as Kane) in 2012. Most of his assists were ugly though.

Selling Dele at his lowest value would be peak Jose. Bale is literally already hurt and will surely get hurt again this year. Not to mention Kane, GLC and Ndombele have all shown injury/fitness issues in recent years. There will be plenty of playing time available for Dele.
Dele’s been garbage under two managers for the past 18 months. What is his actual value? If a PSG came in and offered 40 or 50, that’s a pretty fair return for a player who doesn’t seem to have a place.
Agreed. We should have plenty of minutes for him. Maybe not a guaranteed starter now. But he should be able to contribute coming off the bench or starting midweek games
I have no faith in the team investing that money well, even if we somehow got 40 or 50 million (which I doubt we’d get that much). We just spent 30 million on Bergwijn who is meh. Dele has definitely not been great the last couple years, but we think that because of what he showed his first couple seasons. He’s still just 24 I’m not giving up on him so we can go out and buy another Bergwijn/Lucas/Lamela quality player.

I'm pretty excited to sign a guy like Wout. I hope it happens. Even if he winds up just being bench player, there is something about him that I think would energize the crowd (once we get that back).

Yeah we cannot run Harry into the ground like we’ve done in the past. There are too many games right now and he’s coming off too many injuries in recent years. Any chance of a top 4 finish for us requires a healthy Kane the entire season.
I think he will understand with the schedule we are dealing with. I get why Jose is bitching about it. Makes no sense to have three games every week, especially so early in the season.
