I'm interested in what formation we go with against Chelsea. Whether we revert to our back 4 or stick with the back 3 we used today and matchup with them with a more like for like system. I kind of like the system we employed today and think it could be the better option vs. Chelsea.
With their recent run of form, I just expect to lose and I'll be pleasantly surprised with more. Besides being at WHL, I am just trying to temper my expectations. Spoiler FUCK CHELSEA FUCK IT I WANNA WIN.
It'll be interesting to see if we make any moves during the window. We obviously need another striker, and it would be nice to add a creative player as well. That being said, I fully expect us to take minimal action mainly due to the outrageous nature of the winter window.
for some reason, i'm optimistic about the chelsea match great way to spend a hungover as fuck morning (also, watching gomes get exposed)
The run of league fixtures from now to Liverpool isn't going to be fun Chelsea (H) West Brom (H) ugh Man City (A) Sunderland (A) Boro (H) Liverpool (A) I hate West Brom. Those bottom of the table clubs like Sunderland can be frisky but thankfully the AFCON has them basically empty but they seem to be clicking. Boro and West Brom as the two "winnable" home games are two teams who are probably going to make nightmare games to watch.
Meh, two points dropped. They have a charmin soft schedule the rest of the month so may make that up just based on the fact the other top 6 teams have a lot of games vs. each other.
Uhhh clearly.... Dele -> 20 goals in 51 apps Ozil at Madrid -> 19 goals in 105 apps (against far worse competition)
Fuck Chelsea This is great after the debacle last season Pretty worried though that Levy will sell Dele in the summer if he gets an offer over 55mil, which looks bound to happen
What a great game and result. Couldn't be happier and alli has been on fire ever since I gave my son his new dele kit for Christmas.
What a great game today. Love the weekday afternoon games that I can watch at work. Today was much more enjoyable then that champions league shit show.
Aside from Alli and Eriksen, I think that Wanyama was an absolute monster in the midfield for us today. He put out a ton of fires and got things moving the other way. We made money by trading him for Ryan Mason...
Weirdly enough I can't think of anyone that had a bad game. Obviously the result would suggest that, but the team was ready and firing
Yeah it really was a great team performance from back to front. Our defense is nasty and now that we are scoring consistently we are a team to watch.
