Great article on Poch from the New York Times https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/22/sports/tottenham-pochettino-premier-league.html
Guys this next week is going to be a real fucking doozie. The cunts away on Wednesday, NLD on Saturday, at Dortmund on Tuesday. We need to win today to enter that stretch in the proper frame of mind.
What a smart play. So rare that you see people try to take advantage of the no offsides on the throw in rule.
Poor tactics from Poch. Poor performances from Son, Sissoko, Eriksen, Foyth, and the fullbacks. Not a recipe for success. Lamela has also been worthless since coming on.
I understand why we played five in the back versus these guys for width, but if 90% of our offense is coming through Rose than we need to get Llorente in there sooner. And if we are going to get calls like we have in this game against a team that is intentionally trying to foul and slow us down then we are going to have issues.
Win the next two and all is forgotten. Drop more points and it’s going to be squeaky bum time the rest of the season.
Well that was a shit effort. Puts way more pressure on the next two games now. I’m over three at the back with our shit fullbacks, play our attackers Poch.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction to purchase tickets for a match in London next season? May not be on sale yet but I am trying to see if a few buddies and I can make this happen. The Spurs home page talks about Ticketing Points, looks like some kind of loyalty system that can determine who can buy tickets when they go on sale. Not sure. TIA for any help!
I would email the team and tell them you're a fan from the US wanting to go to a game. That will at least put you in contact with them and they'll be able to tell you what your options are.
Son dusted Kovacic on that run. I tuned in 8 minutes late so I missed Higuain's effort off the crossbar but I'll say that what I saw was a Tottenham dominated half. 0 shots on target if I'm not mistaken, but our attacking intent is clear and the high press has been evident.
That's not what I saw. Chelsea dominated the first part of the half and could have had 3 goals including a PK. It was pretty frenetic, but we bounced back and took control of the game halfway through.
Fair. I'd rather have the second part of the first half go our way, momentum and such. We never are the first team out of the gates it seems.
