this is a fantastic read: http://www.ajaxdaily.com/2017/davinsonbedankt/ the ending line: "Danny Rose, if you have to Google him, you don’t watch enough football."
Seems like end of window wind up, but one of the insiders on spurs community said that the anthony martial rumor may have legs
ITK that I've heard of says Martial ain't going to happen, although he wants to play somewhere regularly in a WC year. But that Mousa Dembele (Celtic) will be Spurs-bound.
The market is irrevocably fucked. But at the end of the day, so long as the club doesn't fold financially, I don't care how much money is spent. How will the gap between 20 and 30 million affect me as a fan? The gap between having a given player and not having them is tangible, quantifiable in a way.
I think Poch's track record with fullbacks helps assuage any fears. He's only 17 and would most certainly be loaned straight back to Fulham, just like we did with Dele. All things considered, it's a risk I feel comfortable in taking. Would love Aurier too.
Not saying I don't want him to sign, just well, he's 17. Probably more for the attacking band in the future methinks but if he's LB he's 3rd choice (until next season when Poche shoots Danny boy into the Sun [the perfidious publication headquarters or the burny thing at the center of our solar system your choice]) and if he's playing as LW he's probably 5 minutes at the end of games for the foreseeable future unless he Dele's it. I'm not one to worry about financials, ain't my club. I think I said the same thing about sissoko last season re: money. Just seems a bit silly.
Yay Trips! Can't tell the formation though, how are Dier, Wanyama, and Dembele all in there. Does Dier fall back to the 3atb? Interested.
Pedro in the subs for the Blues. Bakayoko in the XI. The wrecking crew that is Wanyama/Dembele welcome you to the Prem, bitch.
Dele's bullshit might cost the match. Can't pull that shit there, especially against a guy who is a master at going to ground as soon as he's touched.
Great free kick from Eriksen, Kane almost got on the end of it. We need to even it up before half time.
Kane has to finish that. Alli absolutely crushed the soul of that defender and if it had been completed would have been such an amazing goal.
This game just perfectly sums up how we play at this fucking stadium. Dominate the majority of the match and still fucking lose every time.
I still can't get over how fucking bad Wanyama has been. At least track back after turning it over for the umpteenth fucking time today.
Nothing you can do about the first Alonso goal other than not making the stupid foul to begin with. The winner as pathetic on so many levels.
We had a bunch of meaningless possession and once again couldn't beat down a quality side that more or less packed it in. Shocker.
